You're wrong about PlayStation Now requiring the PS4 pad to play its games. Sure Sony REALLY wants you to use the PS4 pad and will promote it at every opportunity, but I've played on PSNow on my PC using a PS3 pad and it's worked perfectly. Even the PSNow homepage even says Connect your DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller - or other compatible controller - to any USB port or go wireless with the official USB Wireless Adaptor and you're ready to play. under the Ready to Play? section. Other than that, good info vid. I also regularly use itch.io, indiedb.com and GameJolt for my indie game fun.

I used Steam and GOG mainly. But since PC has gone to digital only I have pretty much stopped gaming altogether on that platform except for a few titles I still have loaded on my PC. Only have titles on D2D because of my Gamefly PC games got transferred to that service. In my old age I have found digital content to be worthless, so have started only purchasing products that come in physical format when it comes to both gaming and movies. WHEN consoles go to digital only I'll just stop purchasing games altogether.

Customer service.. steam? I asked the moderation and discussed about it. Most people wanted an instant reply or reply less than 1 day because sometimes they're busy. It's kinda nonsense unless steam Willing to hire more staff. Then again the support ticket sometimes are not clear. Lastly for DRM There's only 2 choice between GoG or Steam. Don't expect anything else. You can buy game anywhere else as long it's legit like humble bundle, then play it on steam or gog. Simple as that.

all the games those alternatives offer u can get on steam, you can get assassin's creed origin or titanfall 2 through steam but you can't get assassins creed origin through origin or gog. prices are pretty much the same so at end of the day, it's still steam.

be very careful of microsoft games in the microsoft store. most games like to crash. i bought two games forza horizon 3 and gear of wars, both crash constantly. till now, microsoft has no solution on this. this issue is widely known in the forum.

Used Humble a lot in the past but it seems their Bundles have been less interesting lately. I once got every Total War game up to Rome 2 with tons of DLC for 15. And one thing about Steam that is hard to beat is the big sales they have.

humble and GoG, but i think you forgot Amazon. they 'sometimes' have interesting sails. and if you don't mind loading your game through disk, you can 'sometimes' get them cheep, and 'sometimes' put them into your steam library.

I just want to know where to find Command & Conquer Generals zero hour, Call of Duty Modern warfare & star wars battlefront 2, I have until now only been a Steam client but now I'm looking for it's better half.

Many of these are traditional gaming services. I am curious to see if game streaming services like PlayStation Now can succeed where others have failed like the OnLive service. Thanks for watching =)
