Things you don't know about Amazon Prime: 1. Amazon Prime is really only beneficial to people who order a lot from amazon. If you only buy things once or twice a month, don't bother. 2. Items that are in the 4 to 15 price range, are normally heavily overprice to compensate for Prime's two day shipping costs. If you compare a lot of items you can find in big name stores, items in that price range will be 5+ dollars cheaper locally. Do yourself a favor and compare those same items and you will see a big difference. This is the only way Amazon can justify shipping you an item that REALLY costs 5 less anywhere else in town. 3. If you're getting Amazon Prime thinking the free shipping aspect is a bonus, refer back to #1 and #2. Also a lot of amazon items can get you free shipping if you bundle stuff up to add up to 25 or 35. 4. Amazon rarely admit any wrong doing when your item doesn't arrive in 2 days. They most common excuse: The item needed more processing time to get to you. This is a common cop-out in order not to give customers the 1 month refund on prime that they advertise. This is a fact: an item COULD take 10 days for a company to processes it, then ship it in 2 days with Prime, and it would still be considered shipped in 2 days. 5. Amazon is known to ship items that were previously returned as brand new. This has happened to me so many times, I've lost count. 6. Amazon's 1 day free shipping only applies if a specific item is in a warehouse near you. If you live a few hours away from a major city, you'll likely never see this option. 7. Amazon Video is a plus, but it's selection isn't. I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon decided to raise it's Prime rates someday in the future and Amazon Video was it's justification for that.

good luck with that 2 day shipping more like 3 days to 2 weeks. yes the first 3 months are great its 2 day and sometimes even next day but after that its 2 days to 2 weeks sometimes even a month. and when they tell you something is in stock do not believe it. and the people are a pain to deal with you ask them what your order did not ship with 2 day for and you want compensation for the 2 day item comeing 4 days later they will keep transferring you till you hang up or till you get a person who wants to tell you sorry I will fix that please hold then thay hang up on you if you call back and explain you disconnected they hang up again. And their so called end prime any time get refunded unused thing is bull crap. their no hasle return is also crap since 30% of orders are wrong items or broke and after returning more then 20 items in a 6 month time they will send you a letter telling you to stop or you will be banned from using amazon and all prime money will be kept buy them and all gift cards taken buy them and if you want it back to take them to court. Now I have worked things out with them and never got banned but I no people have. My self I try and keep them happy but it pisses me off when you pay for 2 day and do not get it and they must black list you in a way when you get ride of prime as I tried that once and just paid for the 2 day shipping and it took weeks to get the product and I was told they ran out of stock and 2 days ment from the day they ship. tell me how is it out of stock when the hole time it sys in stock. out of stock more like suck my

What you forgot to mention is those free shipping come with price tag, on the same platform under the same management every prime item is more expensive than non prime, specially when it's free same day delivery you will see more than 5.00 in price difference, I shopped on amazon for almost 10 years and just canceled the membership and I am not going to buy on amazon anymore. I pend thousands a month on their platform, last two days a go I picked 3 items worth 40+ all free same day delivery items, at checkout they charged me total of 23.00+ shipping cost, I had to get on the phone and explain what they already know and got all the shipping cost credited back to me, just few minutes ago I picked total of 11 items (2) 18.99 free same day, and one at 20 free same day delivery the rest of the item comes from China and it's free shipping, again at checkout they charged me close to 30, this time I called and try to talk to their 2nd level customer service, the idiot who came on the phone started argument with me, I canceled all the transaction while he was on the phone and canceled the prime membership! Amazon has turned to a scam people need to watch out.

Our records indicate you have uploaded one or more songs through your Amazon account in the past. To keep, download, and play your uploaded songs at no extra cost, simply open a web browser, go to your Music Settings, and click the Keep my songs button to direct us to save them to the cloud. Otherwise, your uploaded songs will be removed from your library on April 30, 2018. Your Amazon Music digital purchases will continue to remain securely stored for playback and download -- no further action is required to retain those. These changes will not impact your ability to stream Prime Music or Amazon Music Unlimited. It's becoming an every day change of some kind. Very dissatisfied with the changes, Amazon is making. Sorry if I don't reply to any comments, Kindle Fire HD Tablet 10.1 5th Generation sucks. Will buy a Android or iPad, when this piece of crap dies.

The books for free or in the library to borrow are mostly unpublished authors, and I use the term authors loosely, are badly written, full of grammatical errors, and really just uninteresting. The music is the same...groups or solo 'artists' trying to break through. You can hear better music from a band at your local club. And you might get the Audible app download for free, but there are no free books except as a one-time trial subscription...it costs plenty. The Prime Movies say they get the latest but they are mostly box-office flops and a few mediocre ones. Never the good movies. And now even their stuff for sale in their regular departments can most time be bought for the same or even cheaper price if you live in a city with decent shopping. I live in a small town so I will keep Amazon and just grit my teeth when I find out someone bought the same thing at a store for less.

I'm not sure if I'm going to keep amazon prime. A lot of their movies that sound that they are good movies, are not in HD. That's a big disappointment since I don't watch non HD movies or movies in the old 4 x 3 TV format. Movies was the main reason I wanted Amazon prime. I will admit that I have gotten a couple of good deals and I do like the two day free shipping. Comes in handy when buying cables, DVD's, accessories for my iphone and so forth. Another downside is if there is a price drop in an item, Amazon will not give credit. You have to cancel the purchase ship it back, and buy it again. Sounds like a waste because that adds to their open box items which they sell at a lower price. With Best buy, who matches prices, you take it to the store, and they'll cancel the purchase and you buy the same item again without having to take it to the store.

They use the credit cards without the client's permission, be careful with the gift vouchers that suck. I see some very big scams and I commit the crime of using the cards without notifying the client. I have my case in which they asked me for things with a gift of 40 euros, they used it and they gave me 0, I spent about 32 euros, to my surprise is that after the credit card they stole 37 euros, claiming that it happened to me in the voucher as a gift (they gave me 32 euros) and they told me that I had spent 37 euros with the doormen and that they had the card they charged without telling me, saying that I was active. Who can use the cards without notifying first? to the client? This is a crime DO NOT BUY ANYTHING IN AMAZONAS there are cheaper places without intermediaries like them.

I have never bought a thing on amazon I will tell you why. I am a costco memeber I do not need to become another special people club member one insatnty is enough in my life. Amazon will not survive the decade. I have seen companies come and go and here I am telling you selll amazon now! The biggest reason why amazon will fail is its business model. Now kids you see the way a bisiness grows is very organic , amazon is not organic. Amazon cannot afford to pay the base min wage(ei different from Fed min wage) to majority of its emplyees. As we all know if people working for Ford could not buy the car they were making, there woul dbe no ford and no car industry.

Because Amazon uses such tax deductions to mitigate there overall tax burden, same for the Washington Post. The TAXpayers ends-up picking up the tab. Was watching an Amazon Prime Video(shared acct with my son) on my LG TV just now when it said I was having a bandwidth problem. I checked youtube app on the TV and my internet was fine,I hopped on the PC and did a speed test and my internet was faster than usual,checked amazon app again and still not working. It was Amazon having the problem but wanted me to think it was my internet. I am NOT impressed by that LIE from amazon. My ISP and hardware performance matter to me. The rotten dog lickers at amazoom have already lost much of my business,maybe they want to lose it all.
