X here: In a slight departure from the workouts I've been bringing to you free week after week, I had to stop and show you something this week that absolutely blew my mind. This guy. I'll call him the Man of Steel (he works at a steelyard) sent in a video of him performing a pushup. that blew me away so much that I had to go out and see him first hand! The guy's strength is unbelievable! I wanted to show this to you and show you how with little to no equipment, you too can get great results in your very own home gym doing the same types of exercise. Now, my AthLEAN-X Training System is also a workout system that can be done either in the gym with lots of equipment, or at home with the home gym little to no equipment necessary version of the workout. If you haven't seen this pushup before. it's crazy. If you have never tried this pushup variation before, be careful when you do. It's very intense. You have to build up to this and it's not for novice weight trainers. In my travels, I have seen some crazy feats of strength, but this one is definitely at the top of my list. As you might know, I write regularly for Men's Fitness Magazine, was the physical therapist and strength coach for the New York Mets for the 2006, 2007, and 2008 seasons. and I continue to work as a celebrity fitness trainer working with some of the top professional athletes and celebrities in the world today. As you can imagine I've seen some great workouts and some great physiques. This guy. the Man of Steel almost tops them all. Not only that, but did I mention. this guy is 47 years old! It's amazing. Pass this video on to everyone you think would find this either amazing or just downright cool! In the meantime, for a workout system based on the same muscle building principles as in this exercise head to and grab your copy of the AthLEAN-X Training System now! No sweat buddy! Don't worry about anything but continuing to show up at the start! Make this part of your new lifestyle and you will succeed in the long term. As far as the exercises themselves. begin with bodyweight only to start and make modifications if you have to to be able to complete the exercises. Pushups on knees, inverted pullups under squat rack bar, no med ball on ab exercises, etc. Keep going with this and you will get the results!

Great videos, I have already put some inside my routine and they are awesome. -
Once suggestion, now that The Expendables is coming out like in a couple of weeks, how about putting together a video of Stallone's training, or Jason Stadham, or Randy Couture and Terry Crews, the movie is going to rock, and I belive Muscle and Fitness is doing a report on how this whole creo of badasses trained for the movie. -
Thanks, and great work!

I am 5'11 170 and I am decently fit I workout 4 days a week, but Im looking for something a little different than my workout and the program looks legit for sure, but Im not wanting to shed the pounds off because I am only about 7 percent body fat right now, so will the athlean x still work for me?

What is the best way to gain weight in muscle? Im 22 yo 5'7- and only weigh 120 lbs. What foods should I be eating(fast and simple if posible, how many calories should I be taking in, and what kind of exercises can I do to maximize muscle building and minimize calorie burning? I dont have weights, but do have a pull up bar. Can anyone help?

This video is wicked. I tried this at first and could not do it at all, then I really wanted to show some people this bad-ass push-up and somehow achieved it. The next day WOW I felt it. I now do these everyday as I am on a softball team and could really use the strength. I am 5'11- and 155 pounds and am doing this.

115 sounds unhealthily low for me! This isn't for wrestling is it? I don't feel comfortable recommending a weight loss plan for you, especially since you seem too young to be needing to lose that kind of weight. I wish I could help more, but professionally. I have to pass. I hope you understand.

Hey mate, i'v heard that you shoulden't train 5 days a week, 3 at the most, because it does nothing and you have to let your muscles relax for a few days and do it every second day. Is this correct? or can we train 5 days a week?
