8 Best Barbell Exercises Ever (SURPRISE)

8 Best Barbell Exercises Ever (SURPRISE)

t recommend running out and trying to perform each of these in a single workout. You will want to work each of these demonstrated barbell exercises into its appropriate workout to avoid overtraining or haphazard training. Some people say that performing barbell chest workouts and barbell back and arm workouts is not as effective as using dumbbells. They argue that the dumbbells allow you to overcome any one sided imbalances or weaknesses. While this may be one advantage of dumbbells, it doesn-t sacrifice the quality or effectiveness of the training session. That said, you cannot lift light barbells and think that you are going to get a great enough workout. Even if you are training at home, aim to lift the heaviest barbells that you can lift if you want to build muscle in your workouts. Even if you don-t have barbells because you don-t train at a gym, you can still train like an athlete. If you are looking for a complete workout program that uses just a few dumbbells, a bench, a pullup bar and a resistance band then head to and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. By using equipment like dumbbells or barbells in your workouts, you-re training your body to move and look like an athlete

About those Olympic lifts - and not just the full versions, but primarily the -power- versions of them.
I saw an old video from those two crazy, muscled-up twins, and they were saying that power cleans and such are a bad choice for people who want to build mass for their upper back.
Is that really so? I would think that hoisting weights that go beyond your bodyweigh from the floor to your clavicles in an explosive exercise would be a nice bust in the buck.

Hello Jeff, I'm about to buy the total beaxst program but since I will do the routines in my place, I need to buy a barbell. I need a little of help here since I'm not sure what type of barbell is better for this program: I should buy a STANDARD WEIGHT LIFTING BAR OR A OLYMPIC BAR? thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this!

Thoughts on 5ft bar for landmine exercises. I have limited space and a 7ft bar already, but am looking for another bar to do supersets with. Idk if landmine exercises are more/less effective given 5ft to7ft bar. Please advise if anyone has useful insight. TY!

Squat>Deadlift? Is this rly true? i doubt it. all ive ever heard is Deadlift is the king of all exercises. And it makes sense.
Squat works your lower body, DL works lower body, lower back, upper back, traps? Core. did i miss something? prob.

I don't have a machine for barbell squats. So I pick it up off the ground in a sort of deadlift and lift it over my head. I obviously can't do this with as much weight as I'd like to for squats because I have to lift it over my head. Is this safe?

Hey but in many places it's mentioned that the 5 lifts are the most effective i. e.
Deadlift
OHPs
Floor press
Rows
Squats
So which ones are safer and effective
Is it jeff's best 8 or the big 5
