Wow a sales pitch. Slingshots are a waste of money if you wanna get strong. Why would you wanna make the lift easier at the bottom when that's the hardest part. Yeah you wanna do a little bit of work sometimes without the slingshot but most of the time you should wear it. Makes sense. Don't worry about actually tucking your elbows and just throw on a slingshot so you don't have to think about your form. Go ahead and don't arch your back cause that's dangerous especially if you are like me and have no flexibility and terrible mobility. Oh and buy some of my elbow wraps while your at it because buying my shit will make you a better football player. 225 bench press will go up because the slingshot will make it easier so when you are tested you won't be able to wear and it will be harder because you want to make it easier when you train so you feel weaker when you try to perform.

I am in my 40's, 6'0, 200lbs, and have had lingering shoulder pain from decades of lifting so I stopped lifting heavy for a while until I saw this and gave it a try. I've been using it for a few months now on flat and decline benches and I have to say that it works great! It allows me to safely feel heavier weight without killing my shoulder. I also use it to complete a high volume/burnout of push ups and dips.
Personal Disclaimer: I am in no way, shape, or form a power lifter. I'm just a guy who has worked it most of his life to stay in shape. With that said, I can definitely see how it would be beneficial to those who do power lift. The most weight I have used with this is 315lbs and it has held up tremendously. I primarily workout alone so I don't think I'll use too much more weight but if you have a spot I'm sure you could go much heavier.

I hear people talking about this -slingshot- as a gimmick, its not. I highly recommend it as a workout tool for anyone but especially someone who has had shoulder or pec issues in the past. You can get a good bench workout in pain free if you have any of the issues.

It helps engage ur cns because it allows you to add more weight making your body more accustomed to it so all those people saying it-s cheating, it depends on how u use it. Yes it is cheating if you don-t know how to use it and use it all the time.

lol go figure he-s pimping out the slingshot once again. shit gets old mark. can-t you do anything without having people covered in slingshot gear? -do maybe a little bench work without it but mostly wear it all the time- really?

Such a huge thing for lifters everywhere. Mark's been a big inspiration to bring everyone together, and it's amazing to me to continue to see his impact on strength sports, athletics, etc.

real question, can anyone explain to me how this is different then just using less weight? This product is designed to assist you by X lbs, why would you not just put X lbs less weight?

It makes a massive difference. I-m a 330 raw bencher, but with the slingshot I feel totally comfortable doing doubles and triples at 340, and no issue doing 8 at 315. It-s absurd.

I wonder if this would help me. Every time I bench my front right shoulder gets really sore and I think my positioning is wrong how I lay down or where my elbows come down.

I like how the large majority of world record holders in bench have utilized The Sling Shot, but keyboard warriors who don't even lift call it a gimmick item.
