I train hard as a natural, I use low carb and fasting strategically for fat loss and to remain sensitive to insulin. I have a family history of type 2 diabetes so insulin resistance is something to keep an eye on. I generally use a targeted ketogenic diet which uses carbs around the workout - specifically high glycemic pre-work out and complex carbs post- workout.

Considering the photo of the thumbnail, 4% body fat is a joke to me xD There's no way you have 4% body fat and look like this. He's more around 8-10%. And he doesn't have an impressive physique for someone who strives for the best body possible and doing the -best- diet out there.

In my experience with IF for 3 years, I wouldn-t say that it is impossible to gain a lot muscle mass! Being in significant calories surpluses with IF is almost impossible for me. However, maintaining good shape- calories maintenance and deficit I would recommend IF.

If your 35 can you still gain muscle mass wiht fasting as well? I fast twice a week, but thinking about going harder with it. I only workout 3 times a week though. Is there anythign else that I would need to take to help my muscle mass

What if you have to sit most of the day. You work out at night. I work in a office & I try to not jus sit. I've started fasting 2 days a week. 16 hours fast & 8 hours eatting. It truly has helpeed

On the caffeine part - my consumption actually decreased since I-ve been fasting from 6 cups a day to 2. The reason why is because the caffeine works better for me when there-s no food in the way.

it has been proven over and over again that common artificial sweeteners don't trigger insulin. but somehow jim stoppani keeps telling people to be careful. for absolutely no reason.
