You are so good at sharing your story with people. Alot of teenagers look up to you and how your acny does not drag you down. My friend in highschool had really really bad acne and would try everything to help fight the problem. This is what I learned about acne. Washing your face to much thinking it is dirty is a big mistake. Black heads are not from dirt in your pores its from the oils in you skin getting darker from getting in contact with air. If you wash you're face with soap it is a big big mistake, soap has lye in it over dries your skin. When you over wash and your pores produce more oil to fight it. When the outside layer of skin is dry the oils can't escape and become clogged. The best way to fight acne is, never ever was your face with soap EVER. You need to sweat that oil out and get you're pores unclogged. Got to a sauna every day or two and drink a lot of water, don't wash your face all the time and dry it out. YOUR FACE IS NOT DIRTY. Use mild face wash every other day with acne wash. Wash your face lightly so you don't strip all the Oils out. This should help some of you and acutane will help for people who really need it. OK I think that will help you, it did with my friend. He looks great.

brian, i understand this is an old video but i need some help! i started accutane with moderate acne, no cysts, my derm isn't too good, he didn't offer me antibiotics or any of that, he put me straight on accutane. I'm 15 years old 70kg on 40mg a day and i supposably have 2 weeks left on accutane. all my acne has cleared up but has left behind small red marks. i know you did talk about that in your video already and i know i should ask my derm but with your experience, what do you think? should i go for another month or stop it as expected and wait till they fade or what? (i have no more acne, face is completely flat) if you could help out, i promise it'll mean the world! btw congrats on your results: )

dude you still cute: ) for some reason i find acne on boys is Not that dramatic if youre confident. for anyone who still suffers from really deep zits that are super painful whether you have a mild or severe acne, try Paulas choice bha liquids. ive used the 2% one and. yeah. my acne is gone in less than 2 months and ive struggled with it for 5 years. :) it also did not left my skin feel dry and tight. :)

been on acutane for a month. nothing has really happened except dry skin for me. The doctor did not up my dosage and it is still 20 mg. When exactly did you up your dosage and what is it right now? When do you start seeing its effect. my acne is mostly for chest and back. does it work equally good at those places as well?

You know best of course but idk if I would say you took a step back this week. You don't look very broken out, just red, which is gonna happen in the sun at least a little (even with SPF 30) Making steady progress I feel every week my friend. :D

i luckily just got off my accutane cycle a week ago. feels great! my whole face is clean af now. hope yours gets better as well. damn it feels good to not have those dry lips n shit anymore

I used at least an SPF of 50 when I had acne because they would be all red and swollen after a day out in the sun. They sell sunscreen up to like 100 nowadays, it's insane.
