Your Program Is Not Special Shredz Devin Physique typedeaf: The reason people 'need' customized plans, is because men's fitness and muscle magazines programs are generally giving very poor advice for beginners and the later are generally targeted at AAS users. which a beginner should not be using. So rather than do a couple hours research or buying Arnold'd almanac (which is just paying for a program, right) people put their trust in someone with results they themselves desire. Lets get specific. Selling programs isn't the issue. The issue is selling false hope. The majority of muscle mags and fitness youtubers are lying. They all want you to believe that they found the secret to getting a physique like Arnold, without doing AAS, because they just ate more and trained harder than everyone else. Genetics (your potential, age (natural test levels and mitochondria, steroids (the ability to cheat both genetics and diet) and muscle insertions (the perfect 6-pack or chest cleavage) make all the difference in the world. Genetics means more than just how big your calves are naturally, it is the elephant in the room called racial background as well. Age isn't just about recovery time and high test levels, its also a huge factor on diet. If a person at 40 ate 5000 calories a day, and wasn't on AAS, they would get more fat than muscle gains. If you aren't burning 5K daily, then its going to be stored as fat mostly. There is no special scenario where the potential energy from food all goes to muscle, unless you do AAS.

What seems to work for me and I've been making consistent gains is a single muscle group split each day of the week Monday to Thursday. For example Monday chest, Tuesday back, Wednesday legs and shoulders on Thursday. Each day I'll hit heavy on the compound lifts with a 5x5 then 4x10 for accessory workouts. Then on Friday I'll only do compound workouts, such as Beach press, deadlift, squat, shoulder press, Bend over rows and powerclean. I'll take the weekends off to recover.

The only way a personal trainer works if your a top level bodybuilder who can easily afford the best in the business to get a tiny edge or a beginner who doesn't know a thing about exercises and form. You don't need to pay anyone to tell you what to eat, it's literally easy as long as you have the dedication and willpower to actually go ahead and stick to it.

Thats well put. compound movements plus accessory movements plus tweak it by what muscle groups that you r lagging on. I was doing this and didnt even realize that it was right. but it makes sense its like whack a mole man my back is getting big my chest lagging ok lets do chest two three times a week for a couple months. common sense right?

Nice talk Dave, I sometimes hate working out with other people cause I Gotta stick to my program but volume is definitely key. If my bros are doing a bench and tricep day, I shouldn't have to worry about doing my bench SPECIFICALLY at 9 setsx3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 4, 8, 5, 6 reps and just lift without thinking how bad their lack of a program is

You said in one video that the 5x5 program worked and you blew up. Would you still recommend that? I've been doing it but cant do it effectively because I need to go in the morning so I can get a squat rack and i'm very tired in the mornings, especially during winter idk why, which brings up what I should do for more energy?

Do you guys think it's dumb for me to want to run the program that David is running because I want to make a transformation like his? Should I run a bodybuilding program rather than a strength focused program like Dave's? I wouldn't mind getting stronger but I want the hypertrophy results as well

Good video, good advice. May I request and suggest you to give us your followers videos on how do you actually train, videos that consist of each exercise, per set, and all the details. Excuse my English, hope you get what I'm implying. Thanks bro. :)

what pisses me off is a heavy steroid user trying to sell workout programs or coach a natural person. Its disgusting. Its a scam. A lie. If i was on gear I wouldnt coach anyone just because of that. Even if i had the knowledge, Just seems wrong

A big factor in body building is consistency. I wish I had stayed consistent but haven't really lifted a weight in 3 sum months, rather than getting back on track I'm wining about how I don't look like I used to. Stay consistent.
