Using Dr Lustig here to valid your point as if he was wrong does not make sense at all. And where was he ever debunked by other scientists? You should have at least read his work as he is not about people banning sugar all together. He is against processed food as it is full of sugar, lack protein and fibers and is full of nasty things. He is against having sugar/sweets for breakfast lunch snack and dinner which is the case in an American diet full of processed food. So he is about people drastically reducing the amount of sugar they consume JUST LIKE YOU say it in this video. He is yes against any added sugar or fruit juice ( not fruits) for babies and toddlers. So I don't know anyone who is educated on healthy diet who can be against that. So by saying people THEY HAVE to go through a phase where they have to ban sugar you're actually even more strict that Dr Lustig but ok.

I love how everytime I hear an issue with eating its weight gain I understand america is fat but im a stick, Ive overeaten before with sugar but if I stand too close to my front door Ill fly off down the street this is ridiculous why isnt being underweight ever talked about. Also all these plans and shit online don't help I dont think the fit look like this guy has is attractive at all I want weight on me tired of being lean f that I want some jiggle on me or its more attractive to me personally if a guy had more of average/chubby build.

Thank you for your videos.
I have been following your advice since the beginning of my training almost 3 months ago and find that it is enormously helpful.
I like that you not only talk about your own experiences, but also refer to scientific results and empirical research.
Especially many of your tips for nutrition as well as correct training methods have helped me progress and are showing clear successes.
Youre inspiring. Greetings from Germany. Go on!

People who didnt eat their daily dose of sugar is red blood cells murderer. I have watched cells at work and now i realize how important a single red blood cell is. It is a long process to produce new red blood cells from the bone marrow as erythroblasts, then losing their nucleus to become a full fledged red blood cell. How crazy is that process? Then suddenly you just waste all of that process by stop eating sugar. At least please, eat your daily dose of sugar.

Sirs, no artificial sweeteners! Avoid artificial sweeteners at all costs because it made of man-made substances with zero calories molecules. It is more harmful than good for human consumption. Animals avoid eating artificial sweeteners but they love sugar. Moderation on sugar, but avoid excessive eating sugar-loading food, and also, avoid high sodium and high fat. Exercise significantly helps.

I just dont get if companies know sugar is bad why they keep making good stuff for us?
Also why healthy food is so expensive as vegan and junk food is so cheap. Like when I go to a vegan restaurant with my brother we spend up to $60 bucks for 2 meals and when we go to a non vegan or fast food the more we spend is $10 bucks. So I dont get it why is like that

Can you link some research or papers on which aspects of R. Lustig theories are wrong? I've read Fat Chance and changed my life, it help me realize that as you said, sugar is a drug as many others, the trick is that it comes within something we all need to survive.

I used to have 3 spoons of sugar in my coffee and average 10+ cups a day, I'd also consume around 5 chocolate bars and other sweets all washed down with a 2L bottle of Pepsi. my sugar intake used to be through the roof so glad I stopped!

Wow looks like i dont need to do it because i dont like sweets and i also dont like donut flour, those tastes disgusting. But anyways, dont quit sugar entirely, it will result in a certain death after a few weeks.

I don't eat sweets often but I do drink a lot of orange juice but I don't mind switching to unsweetened tea it's not the first time I have had to make a commitment
