My Chest Hypertrophy Program Timestamp to Scientific Section 1: 35 MY BENCH PRESS VIDEO MY POWERLIFTING SCIENCE VIDEO DaN3xtEconomist: My Chest/Shoulder/Tricep workout is as such. Tell me what you thing guys and any feedback would be really appreciated: )Warm up by jumping jacks, stretches and doing 10 reps of wall walks hand stand then going down to the push up then back up the wall walk. 1. Barbell Bench Press (3 x 8-12r)2. Incline DB Press -superset- Incline Cable Fly (3 x 8-12r)3. Machine Fly (3 x 15r)4. Elevated Pike Push up (3 x 10r)5. DB Shoulder Press -superset- Cable Lateral Raise -superset- Cable front raise (3 x 8-12r)6. Weighted Dips (3 x 8-12r)After my workout, I like to do what is called the finisher for more tension and burn in my muscles: 1- Push up (20 reps)2- Diamond Push up (20 reps)3- Shoulder taps (20 reps)4- Negative Jump Push ups (10 reps) - try these. They really burn your chest5- Push up - hold at the bottom for 30sI like to combine calisthenics with my workout. I use cable for lateral raise and fly because they add more tension and you really feel the muscle burn.

At 2: 27 Jeff wastes his time. He has recruited his lats, sternum muscles, erector spinae and glutes to do a chest exercise by mimicking power lifters. And Jeff puts crazy forces on his shoulder joints the whole time. The load is too much for Jeff's pecs to handle. Even using the bench, which is a cheat, if Jeff positioned the bar over his belly button rather than his arm pits, Jeff could activate more of his pecs. But his ego wouldn't like it because likely he couldn't lift but 10% of his typical workout bench weight. At 3: 59, Jeff blathers about correlation between pec size and 1-rep max strength. Correlation isn't causation and all he has said is that guys with developed pecs can lift more on average than guys with undeveloped pecs.

Hey Jeff, had a question about pre exhaustion. On my push days, i always start with OHP as i want to get it stronger, and also find it is way weaker after bench then bench is after OHP. That said, bench, and in particular Incline bench is pretty weak after OHP. If i do chest flies after the OHP, before incline press, would it help to make my chest weaker, and therefore the limiting factor on incline bench (taking front delts out of the movement) or would it cause the shoulders to take over as they are now stronger relative to chest. (more bodybuilding goals on chest compared to strength)

That fruit you're eating is Barbary Fig and it grows on some sort of cactus, the way you cut it is absolutely wrong you just take the outer layer off and then throw the whole thing into your mouth, at least that how we do it here in Egypt and Morocco, I tasted it once in America and it didn't taste as good as in North Africa, probably because it grows in deserts and that's not so often in some American states. I would definetly recommend trying it in North Africa whenever you get the chance because it will be totally different.

Call me when you start having a back problem. Using extension of the lumbar spine just to help lift more weight it doesn't matter u become bigger because you are actually lifting the same weight with your pectoral muscles and the rest by the back muscles and the unfortunate event is that you put too much stress on your spinal cord, discs etc. Make a research before you speak. That's why physiotherapists have so much patients to treat and its a future job. Thanks to people like you

Cactus fruit will cover you in short hair like needles touching it they way you did. You are supposed to slice off both ends then cut the skin down the middle and peel it off to get the entire fruit out in one whole piece. Its best to handle them with a knife and fork so that you never have to touch them.

Great video Jeff but help me understand something. If your primary focus is bodybuilding and hypertrophy why are you benching like a power lifter in this video? Or was that just to show strength on the 315 set?
