MEN vs WOMEN Sex Differences in Training Science Explained (12 Studies) mecanicotop: What is this about? To make women feel that they have the same potential if they want? To not hurt their feelings? A overweight man that drinks beer in his couch potentially will have more strenght than a woman who hits the gym every day. Don't try to lie in order to have more females in the gym, it's a dangerous thing to do. Be realistic: For women it's better to be in shape because they can look good, they will be healthier, and in the case of self defense they will be more prepared to do something, in the best scenario a woman can hit as hard as an average man, but can actually run and have a better stamina than the attacker, and save her life. I know from fact that men have way more strenght than women, I had a taller girlfriend that I can grip her hands with only one of mine, and tickle her with the other (happy recall. Another fact is that I have been working out for years, and the most strong women never surpass, only can get the same weight than an average man (squats, and certainly the stronger men lift more than the double or triple (or more) of weight with their arms. I can give you one thing that I agree: women are more capable of recovery and have better stamina, generally. Don't be irresponsible, tell women the hard truth, it's more respectful that sweet lies. Also don't get me wrong. I love and respect women, they are awesome in their own way.

Love your videos Jeff, We are also the same height and gain muscle quickly haha but just a question. Are you saying it isn't true that men gain muscle size FAR above what women can achieve in a short periodor are you saying it is equal hands down. Because biologically. They are the weaker vessel. On average. No arguments needed. If you don't like it shoot the biologists. I'm confused. Testosterone. isn't the only thing a lot higher in men than women. Which greatly increases your ability to build muscle. Strength is higher in men on average as well. This isn't an insult to women. Why are we treating it as such? I don't care what new people come out saying the opposite. It will never change. Men Stronger - Women - not inferior because of this simple fact. I'm so confused as to what this is about. I thought we knew these things already? My tone isn't aggressive btw I'm just curious.

I'm gonna guess that the studies he was referring to were taking muscle gain as a percentage of the initial muscle mass, I. e. proportional. And to note, women have a lower genetic/hormonal limit when it comes to building muscle. This difference is very pronounced. So pronounced, in fact, that there are separate leagues in sports for men and women. It wouldn't be fair to have women competing against men. It's annoying that I feel like I have to say this, but no, I am not biased towards women, nor do I think that there is zero overlap and exceptions. But by a significant margin, this is reality.

I just don't buy it. I remember going to the gym for the first time in my life. A couple of months in, while I was doing some pullups, a woman mentioned to me that she was envious, because it took her two years to do a single pullup. I knew her since I joined the gym. I know it depends on many factors, but I had a sedentary life style and some past injuries (dislocated shoulder and a fracture at my elbow) that made my left side weak, while she was pretty thin and around my age.

hmmmm. question. if your analysis is correct and woman can train longer and do more per session how come I cant find a comparable record in running marathon for men and women? its an endurance sport where guys are usually small and skinny so a female can easily attainthat muscle mass and if the women stamina is superior they should win. just curious ( Eliud Kipchoge is 5 6 weights 123lbs, he is the current world record holder )

OK, so Jeff is a science denier. Good to know. Repeat after me: Men are stronger than women. Even if a man is the same size as a woman, he will be stronger than she. An average man has 40% more muscle than a woman, and 2-3x as much strength. Men have 2x the muscle building speed as women. Lol. This guy is totally clueless. He says women are 33% weaker in the legs, and then that they are better at training legs. xD

cool study but completely wrong. Name 1 sport. any sport in the world. that a women beats a man. You can even Drop a man's weight class, and put them against a female with larger muscle mass. Guess what, the male's are still ALOT stronger than any female in competition. Also women endurance or fatigue is nowhere near compared to men athletes. say in long distance runs. cool study but pointless lol.

4: 38 No dude its not mean they better at legs, its shows that men in the skeleton size have adventage of 34 % power in the legs from women. and stronger in the upper boddy 48% more then women, its 2X then women upper body. and in reality on avergae males much more higher then woman, so they got huge skeletal differnce.
