Caloric deficit is NOT the key to weight loss. Caloric utilization is a moving target dependent on hormones. Managing hormonal responses and levels is the key to controlling weight. That's why the keto diet works. That's why taking steroids and doing nothing else results in massive body transformation. That's why being estrogen-dominant can prevent any weight loss or muscle gains. Please do not perpetuate the myth that eating less and/or exercising more will help most people. It won't. Eating right and exercising right, in order to stimulate an advantageous hormonal response is the key. And that might include eating more and/or exercising less.

Hey Jeff I've now tried eating Kiwis with the skin and it's actually really nice. I love the convenience of just taking a bite without making a mess by digging at it with a spoon. It made wonder though. do you think eating the skin is fine even if it is non-organic? I've often heard the recommendation that when using orange/lemon peels for cooking or baking, you should buy them organic because the pesticides used in conventionally farmed ones saturate the skin of those fruits. Do you think this could be a concern here?

Hemp seeds buddy is the best thing on the market right now. They are rich in magnesium, zinc, omega 3 and 6, High in protein. Third of a cup everyday in my yogourt in the morning. It ain't cheap but really worth the price. Also try camelina oil, I put some in my coffee and in my protein shakes. The thing as a weird taste but it's high in omega 3 and 6 and in Vitamin E. Lots of benefits for your skin health. Thanks for the upload man I had no clue Kiwis were that good for your health. Great video

My selection: Widest selection possible of dark leafy veggies, pungent stuff like ginger, garlic, mustard, turmeric, lemongrass, fragrant spices and herbs, exotic fruits along with usual ones. This strategy possibly serves as an insurance policy and may or may not have a synergistic effect when combined. Most importantly your diet becomes less boring and might lead to improved adherence if you can plan the prep efficiently.

Hey, your videos are a great source of information but one vitamin everyone seems to overlook is vitamin k2 which is lacking from most western diets. 300mg of k2 mk7 a day has been found to lead to a 12% increase in maximum cardiovascular output without any additional training so certainly worth taking if your not.

Honestly the specifics of these studies go in and out at the same speed. You showing the studies is still good so we know what you say is actually based on something, and some facts are definately cool and memorable, but the smooth editing and general relaxed style keep me coming back to your vid's. Keep it up man

I think the largest online database for pier reviewed articles might be Web of Science, not PubMed. I think it's that way because PubMed is mainly medical things and things in that area, Web of Science has some of that but also more physics, maths, chemistry etc. I could be wrong though.

Thanks for another great vid, you've already turned me into a kiwi fruit addict (with skin. I eat blackcurrents and greens daily, but there is no way that I could eat mussels, they really gross me out for some reason. Don't like the taste of garlic, but might check out the supplement type.
