HAVE YOU TRACKED YOUR MICRONUTRIENTS? Vitamin & Mineral Breakdown FDOE Szotak Andrei: I had to do this for last year's nutrition class, and most of the RDA values are pretty easy to hit. I just ordered some Magnesium and Zinc, just to be sure. I love putting spinach into my morning yogurt. I also love frozen veggies, especially in the winter months. I usually get the mexican mix (beans, peas, peppers, corn) or the royal veggie mix (broccoli, baby carrots, cauliflower. Lucky me also has onions grown by my grandparents, so I'm pretty much set: )

I know that this is an older video but you should check out nutritional yeast for B vitamins and look into the acidity of milk in the body. There has been some research showing that high consumption of dairy can actually leach calcium from your bones due to it's acidity. Just something you might be curious about looking into: )

Fun fact: The reason Popeye eats spinach is because of an error in the calculation of its iron content by chemist Erich von Wolf in 1870. He misplaced a decimal point, recording iron as having 35mg of iron per 100g, instead of its true value of 3. 5mg/100g. The former is equal to eating part of a paperclip. Great video as always

Is that a Matt Good t-shirt? If so, that's awesome He's my husband's favorite musician, but we feel like no one in the US knows who he is (At least no one we know)As far as tracking micronutrients, have you heard of Cronometer? That's the app I use from time to time. It has a huge database of foods with their nutritional info.

i appreciate the video alot. i recently noticed im low in potassium too. i use MFP and it doesn't show me magnesium something im concerned about myself. how did you get all these stats (zinc, fluoride, etc) is that what you meant by it took you a long time to gather all the data because you actually had to research all the foods?

Did you look at your trans fat intake by the way? It's funny because I had to do this whole experiment for my nutrition class too. Had to compile all this data for three days and take the average.

Have you investigated Jacob Wilson's claim that a low carb, high protein/high fat breakfast is better than a high carb breakfast in regards to lessening fat gain/increasing fat loss?
