There are a handful of fitness youtubers that apply good reasoning in their splits and workouts but you are doing the best at keeping it simple and effective. One thing id like the share with you. Your split is very logical and I like it. I spent a few years working with different splits and have came up with thisday 1 chest/bicepsday 2 legsday 0 optional rest (I don't)day 3 shoulders/tricepsday 4 backday 5 rest/yogarepeatIt runs on a 5 day block instead of 7 so you cant base it off of days of the week but who really cares unless you have certain days that you must take your rest days on. In this split all of your muscle groups get primary and secondary stimulation twice a week which is similar to what you achieve with your push/pull/legs/push/pull. Anyway, not saying yours is bad or mine is better. Just returning the favor of sharing information from an enthusiast.

Energy drinks takes days on end to flush out of your system. As for Monster, it takes at least 23 days to flush 20 ounces of that crap out of your kidneys. It over stimulates your adrenal gland. This raises your hydrocortisone levels and also your adrenaline levels. This is where the GABA amino acids come in to stop you feeling jittery. In turn this gives you a resistance to insulin, makes more work for the pancreas, then puts all the retained weight on your gut. Plus all the other bits of crap in those drinks, will no doubt be doing a lot of damage. In short keep off the energy drinks

Its not a myth that you can use one head harder than the other in each excercise. Your biceps is responsible to flex your elbows and also the twisting of your lower arm. Different lower arm position or the rotation of the lower arm makes a difference on how each head works. Of course its impossible to only use only one at a time, but you can kinda push one to do more work.

Matt. You speak about being in a calorie surplus to build muscle. I'm a big guy (endomorph) and am training to lose weight and gain muscle. I am trying to watch what I eat. Is it possible to do both i. e start to look good while losing the weight. The way I see it I have already done a lifetime of bulk and now training it off?

What about if u eat like I go college so I eat from 8am if I eat 1. 5K calories before gym and then go gym and eat after which is another 1k will I still grow my biceps because some say when u eat bare calories before gym and after gym ur back to 0 calories u then need to eat all over again, just wondering

I'm a chicklette. But I love ur vids, super motivating too. And I'm a 'suck-aaa' for lucas cuteness. Oh, and have just started doing weight training, albeit light. Cos I am that skinny arm friend. Not for long tho. Cheers again for the awesome vids and love ur sense of humour.

For my dumbbell exercises, I went from 3 sets of 10 to 5 sets of 10 because I mainly am going for endurance currently (Age 15) so I'm prepped for a gym environment, is this good(I'm a lean 122lbs)

How do you use such light weights but still manage to have big arms? I get that you need to properly contact and have good TUT, but for biceps of that size, surely you would need to curl heavier to get growth?

Thanks for the video. when you do your reps, do you keep it the same weight for all 3 reps or do you up it each rep? Also is there an easy method to finding what your calorie intake should be?
