First time I see the leg raise to hip thrust in a video. I started to combine lying leg raises and hip thrusts as part of shortening time in the gym or more to say: to have more time left to do other things during my workout. Never seen it as an 'official' named movement. Keep up the good work. Your vids are fun AND informative to watch.

The rectus abdominis or abs consist of one muscle that includes both upper and lower sections. Most are mistaken that there are no separate upper and lower abs These three exercises work more the primary hip flexor- psoas than they do the abs. The best exercise for abs is a calorie deficient diet to lose body fat!

Can anyone help? My left abs are way more defined compared to my right side. Is this because my left is used as a counterweight while working or carrying things? If I start using my left side more, will my right abs need to work harder?

I-m skinny fat. My arms and legs are skinny and my stomach has some belly fat. I don-t want to eat more just to get bigger arms, if I keep doing my arm workouts they-ll grow thicker won-t they? Great vids! Keep em up!

I have stopped following everyone else now. I only watch these videos. it keeps everything simple and explains everything properly. Plus that bloke in the light blue pants and that eighties head band cracks me up!

ok but what if you can't do the hip thrust like my lower abs are strong enough for the low back to stay on the ground but not strong enough to do the hip thrust let alone curl towards your chest in a reverse crunch

i was always under the impression that with hanging leg raises, to get the lower abs to work you need to get the pelvis to tilt and bring your bum up. Is this incorrect then?

So I am down to 6-1- 169. 8 lbs 7. 9% body fat and 48 years old. If I stick with a calorie deficit I may get to small. Getting a 6 pack is rough at my age-
