Testing A small scuba tank you can use under water for 3: 30 min Kriss: Okey, real situation: You are under water exploring looking at fish etc. you are at 5 meters deep you take your last breathe of air and as you fill your lungs you run out of air, you know that your mini tank is empty and your lungs are full of air and you are at 5 meters what do you do? most of us would just bolt for the surface cus they re out of air and since most of untrained people dont know that you are supposed to exhale as air expands as you are ascending so by the time you reach the surface the air will have expanded 1. 5 times and you end up with ruptured lung. as you breathe in 6L of air at 5 meters it will be 9 liters at the surface.

You'd be hard pressed to kill yourselves using this in a swimming pool. Very few people (if any) would attempt to take this device to a depth great enough to kill you if you surface too quickly. I think there is a bit too much fear and paranoia being pushed by the scuba certified community. But if someone can provide me statistical evidence of high number of deaths from the use of these products then I'd be happy to change my point of view. 99. 9% of the time these are used in shallow water less that 20 feet deep.

I did it with 4: 40 minutes. And with several test the time did not improve.
Moreover if you are at 1 atm or 10 meter you can have only 2 minutes breath.
Fun is over soon with this gadget so I deem it as a waste of money.
PS. Carefully check out its regulator for commonly weak to get leak, this can be done by submerge it in the pale with water and you can see small bubble flowing up all the time.

Ha ha, I thought this mini tank was a claim to last 3 HOURS and 30 MINUTES. Time is denoted HH: MM: SS so the video should read 00: 03: 30 to be correct. OR it could be HH: MM and MM: SS if denoted correctly. i. e. 04: 30 MINUTES means 4 hours 30 MINUTES. Likewise 15: 30 SECONDS means 15 minutes and 30 SECONDS. Your video should read 03: 30 SECONDS =] Hope this helps.

Thank you for your informative video. I was wondering how much air time a normal person would have from a spare air. now i know.
FYI, I think the dive-nazis would rather you be in the ocean than in a controlled environment like a pool. do what you want to do. F the jerks.

Elizabeth. I love being in water as much as I love seeing others enjoying themselves in it. When endorsing products like this, you need to keep in mind that sense was never common. There's always people willing to push the limits and go beyond what is recommended.

The concept is just great, I tested it with Karbones. The autonomy of the bottle is 12 minutes I was not at all on it, I recommend the pack bottle and the compressor, because with the pump it is too physical! I highly recommend this brand: www. karbones. com.

This definitely seems a good thing to keep in your vehicle in the event of ending up underwater while in your vehicle.
However, how would the average non-diver refill it? I assume an air pressure device in a garage wouldn't work.

reply

This could be good for all sorts of reasons.
1-I have almost ran out of air diving and just having his on you can get you another 3 minutes
2-fires
3-just emergencies that you can run out of air

So going to just 20 feet or above in the ocean with this would cause a ruptured lung? Really? Somehow I fail to believe that unless I took an incredibly deep breath under the water at the bottom.
reply

Instead of continually breathing it you should have swam for as long as you can then have a few breaths of that and see how long you can stay under for cause you could probably be under 20 mins
reply

Put it in your mouth and breathe, simple. Who the hell wants to go down that deep anyhow? Maybe some of us want to make a video of us using this cool gadget. Our waste of $300, relax already!
reply

So you can stay under water for 3 mins with this? I can hold my breath longer then that.
Dumb people, please use this as a las resort to not drown instead of a way to stay under water.

reply

I can go 20m deep and stay under for good two minutes, this thing would be very useful, but maybe also very dangerous, because I would probably want to go even deeper. Nice invention anyway

I am a free diver can I use this for example I am diving with spear gun and I found the fish I am looking for and I didn't have enough oxygen can I use it instead of going to the surface
