Macro Cycling vs. Carb Cycling - Why Macro Cycling Wins Full Article: Consistent energy. No off-limit foods. Simplicity. That is what makes Macro Cycling work. Many of you may know Carb Cycling or the general gist of it. You cycle your carbs and have high-carb days and low-carb days during the week. There are many ways to do this, but you often also have to time your workouts with the different days so that you have certain workouts on certain high-carb days and others on low-carb days. While Carb Cycling can be great, it does require you to plan more so you can make different meals during the week and cycle between days. I found this to be too complicated for my personal meal prep as I couldn-t prep big dishes for the week and had to make sure to buy for both types of days. I also found that it always happened on high carb days I wanted foods with more fat, which I couldn-t have and on low-carb days, I always wanted carbs- Always seems you want what you can-t have! Literally the second you say, -I can-t have a cookie. - That is instantly what you want and become obsessed with EVEN if you hadn-t wanted a cookie before you told yourself that! So for me while I think the idea of basic Carb Cycling is great, the way you usually have to implement it with programs just didn-t really fit with two of my three most important dieting beliefs- While it gets results, it wasn-t as simple as I would have liked to be able to stick to long term and it also left me feeling deprived too often. Don-t get me wrong-I realize it isn-t possible to get ideal results and just binge eat all of the time. BUT that doesn-t mean I always have to feel like I-m missing out. That is why I came up with Macro Cycling. Full Article

Humm
A few years ago my body hurt in ways that couldn't be fully explained as to the root cause. When I learned that food could be the culprit I start doing elimination diets and Lots nearly 30 lbs very rapidly ( not be use I was trying to lose weight) I know weight around 114 lbs and I think I might have worked myself into some sort of a eating disorder ( not eating a lot of calories daily) I eat when I'm hungry and I eat untill I'm full which is normally once or twice a day. I'm currently doing the GAPS protocol which has let me know how sluggish my gallbladder and liver are backed up and need attention. After I fully repair my gut follwing the GAPS protocol, I can try out your suggestion. My goal is to build enough lean muscle and maintain it to get me through the sunset of my life and fully enjoy spending time with my grandkids. I've been very sleep deprived for many years and have no energy, it takes max effort to do your booty burn program but, It's a good one cuz I'm feeling it! Thank you.

Ill try macro cycling. I tried carb cycling with a workout regimen for about a month or so. lost 8 pounds, energy, and freedom to eat. And then I gained my weight back in the following months lol. Macro cycling seems like a great and reasonable idea. Ps your delts are deadly. So perfect. You're beautiful. Keep up the great and inspiring work!

Hi Cori, question for you. I guess as the name suggest you change your macro % over time, how often you change? Before I was just tracking my macros, trying to eat at least 130g protein a day but I hit a plateau. I am just wondering if the cycling of the macros would help in this aspect. Thank you for your tremendous work.

I see you have recipe books too. Does macro cycling have all the recipes or just suggestions? I am trying to decide whether to purchase macro cycling or the recipe books? Or would you really recommend both? I want workouts that progress and a diet to help build muscle. Thanks, Fiona
