In Britain, we have the worst trains in the world, the highest fares in Europe, the trains are filthy, overcrowded, either run late or, cancelled with further fare increases planned in January. There is now talk of fed up passengers boycotting trains altogether, getting jobs closer to home and making alternative plans on how to get to and from work. We can learn an awful lot from the Chinese and Japanese on how to run a service with excellent trains. Our railways are broken and need a good overhaul.

I thoroughly enjoyed that I was enjoying watching the scenery whiz by then the other bullet train passed and I nearly jumped out of my chair Took me completely by surprise: ) How long did it take you to get to the next stop on the line? I'd love to ride it one day but highly doubt that I will be able to; so thank you so much for sharing the ride. :D

I want this Train from Long Beach to Las Vegas, San Francisco and San Diego. I would be in Vegas in 1hr instead of 4hrs also in San Francisco in 2hrs instead of 6-8hrs.
