people really need to realize that building animatronics is basically artform. Yes the technology is far superior than it was when these were built, but its such an expense to design, build, program and create these giant robots. It's not like these 3d rides that are all now done with screens and computers. Animatronics can run easily from a few thousand, up into the millions just to have one built. Upkeep is hard. Most likely, the companies who built them, are no longer around, and all of these are basically 1 of a kind. maybe a couple others that were sent to another park for the same ride. Yes it would be nice to have them updated with newer, realistic ones and retire these after such a long service and hard life. However, its not feasible and will most likely meet the same fate as the Jaws rides. I say let them continue their legacy until they no longer operate.

Okay one time me and brother went there, we didnt feel like riding it so we stayed while my dad and other two brothers went to go ride it while by Mom was right over at the stairs waiting for them to come down to take pictures of them. Me and my brother were sitting like at the edge where the drops come, and I was really bored so when the car came down, I started timing it to see how many seconds break in between of two carts coming down, my brother joined with me and we just started doing the whole equation of how long it takes for each cart to go down separately. We were bored okay.

My mom & I attended Universal studios for the very first time on Halloween night, the scenery was beautiful (especially at night, but shit got serious for me when the countdown started. Naturally I'm a very anxious person & countdowns just sped up the process. Sad I didn't get to see the car drop, but at least G'N'R's 'Welcome to the Jungle' was the bg for the few seconds before dropping.

I rode this ride before, I was on the front with my friend, my sister, and my brother, we got very wet. The last part of this ride is very fun, the part when you're about to drop will get you very wet, but that'll probably be my favorite part of this ride.

man, I really wanted to go to the california version. I went to the orlando version but I won't get the chance to experience it bwcause they are shutting down for Jurassic World.

God this ride was awesome. I hope the Jurassic World one is still just as good. I waited about 3 hours the last time I went just to make sure I went on this ride because I love it.
