Speaking of broken ride experiences, when I visited Disneyland Paris, someone decided to turn on their camera and film the ride without permission just before the first drop. One of the staff members cut the audio and delayed the drop sequence to tell them off. So we stayed in the same position for roughly 10 seconds, all expecting the drop to happen but not knowing when it would occur. But when it did, all we heard is our screams with no soundtrack behind to cover them until the final drop when it eventually came back on again. It was a lot of fun: D

Why are you all missing Tower of Terror? The new Guardians ride will still have the same elevator drop just a different story/theme. It's not like you came just for the Twilight Zone story. You're there cause of the dropping part. Also, Orlando's TOT blows California by a mile. You might as well just go to Disney World if you miss is that much.

It's unfortunate they never updated the ride system like Florida's Tower until it's unfortunate end. ToT will always have a special place in my heart it just sucks now I can't take a 45min car ride to enjoy it and will have to fly to the other side of the country instead. (Even if I always preferred Florida's Tower)

Really unhappy they are removing the Tower of Terror. Still, this Late Night Checkout actually ended up making the ride pretty scary. Tried it in real life, and it actually make me panic, as I anticipated the drop. (Still doesn't excuse the fact that they are ruining the best part of the ride, the theming)

The whole gimmick of doing it all in the dark just seems like a ploy to get some early work/demo started on that show scene for the GotG transformation before officially closing the ride. Not sure having that scene dark really added anything to the experience.

This is weird because when I went on it two weeks before New Years it was literally silent the entire time no narration probably something was off but it did keep the anticipation up for sure the line was two hours long but it was so worth it really gonna miss it

The tower of terror's theming is very unique style. They could of just remodel some of the scenes and updated some of the projections. It's sad because people that live in California willNow half to go to Floridas Hollywood studios to ride this unique attraction.

Im really sad their getting rid of the tower of terror, Its a very unique ride. I remember riding radiator springs racers and seeing the unique structure in the distance. I am a huge California adventure fan and I am going to be sad its changing.

(sigh) I'm truly gonna miss Tower of Terror at Disneyland CA Adventure (sigh. wouldn't it be wonderful if there was a virtual reality experience of this ride so we all could enjoy it whenever? I don't know. just a thought.

Honestly the best ride at Disneyland, along the with the Matterhorn. Glad to say I got one final ride on it yesterday before it closed, unfortunately my mom would not wait 2 hours for the late checkout
