Family is the root of us all, learning from said family. all the history of times gone by is the most special part. I've discovered so much from my mother's side but my dad, being born in East Germany when Hitler was in power. there's so much mystery i have yet to unlock. and can't because you have to go there. You have show proof still to this day that you are related. I guess when I'm dead and gone I'll know these answers however it something I'd love to hand down to my kids. The best advice I can give to anyone is LISTEN to your elders. record them as they talk. The days will come when you wished you had. My father now has alzheimers and doesn't say much. I speak from personal experience, time waits for no one. neither does the grave
