Is Vatican City a REAL City? melonside421: To be fair, this is a on-topic video and I find it interesting. I am not as much on living in apartments as it is overall to use land more efficiently with yamvine gardens and orchard trees and more. People may find that perennial crops could be integrated in alot of spaces in an urban area, like Houston or Dallas.

Speaking of small places that function like cities, I've been curious for some time about what we can learn from college campuses and universities.
I know a lot of them have their own post office, residence halls, gardeners/waste management/utilities, security, recreation centers and government in the form of presidents/administration.
Some even have bus systems!

But do they have an Amazon fulfilment centre?
Also, if you are ever visiting the Vatican don't just bee-line to the Sistine Chapel like so many do. Some of the other stuff in the museum is amazing. Personal favourite is the Raphael loggia. Better than the Sistine IMO.

I think they should pay for the sewage treatment. They were allowed to dump into the river not get treatment for free. Besides they are rich enough, so I see no reason why they should loot off of the Italian government.

If you're ever in Rome and you want to send a letter internationally, use the Vatican city postal service, it is much quicker and more efficient then the Italian postal service.

Vatican police have to be Catholic, male, and unmarried, but they don't have to be celibate?
Okay, so dating the tourists is totally on the table. Where do I apply?

We'll be back to hard-hitting videos on mega cities, zoning, street design, etc. soon, but I thought we could all use a little break with a fun topic! Enjoy!

Is that last one you mentioned where they figured out how long to make the Gregorian calendar, or was that in a different place in Rome?
reply

Didn't realize there was a train station there. Vatican City is definitely worth the trip (especially if you're Catholic!
