I also see this in my country Indonesia, ij Indonesia Cities like Malang or Yogyakarta or any other cities that are being dominated by big universities and therefore large part of it's temporary de facto population are college students are pleasant city.

I think it s interesting how these conflicts play out when there s no on-campus housing at all. In Trondheim there s been talks of the student association buying out an entire neighboorhood due to excess noise.
