We explored and danced our way around the Hawaiian island-of Oahu, where enormous sea turtles sun-bathe on the northern beaches and rustic wooden swings are set up along rocky coastlines for all to enjoy. Where artists flourish in downtown Honolulu creating incredible larger-than-life murals on buildings, and cultures combine to create a beautiful mix of old and new.
We tasted delicious shave ice at the legendary Matsumoto's in Haleiwa (make sure to top yours with condensed milk for an extra special treat, were lucky enough to spot sea turtles at Laniakea Beach, stumbled upon an adorable tree swing made from driftwood, found the Aloha mural in downtown Honolulu, and floated through the Polynesian Cultural Center, before we moved onto the next island in our adventure: Maui!
Travel: I am so jealous it is my dream to visit Hawaii one day i will get there in the mean time i will keep dreaming. :) Date: 2022-09-01
