Boca Raton & Delray Bch - South Palm Beach County Florida Very nicely done! Ive been in South Florida 33 years, first in Boca where I had a breakfast and lunch restaurant on Federal Highway, then in Delray Beach where I also had a breakfast and lunch restaurant right in the heart of downtown at Atlantic Avenue, about twenty years ago. We moved to downtown Lake Worth 12 miles north of Delray Beach about 14 years ago and just sold our little compound there, and moved back to Delray Beach. Luckily you dont have to be rich to live here, because we are definitely not rich. We bought a 2-bedroom 2-bath condo two years ago in a 55 plus development. It takes us literally less than 5 minutes to drive downtown to Atlantic Avenue and about eight minutes to get to the ocean. We paid $117, 000 for this two-bedroom two-bath. We are on a canal and watch the boats go by all day and watch the iguanas and all the tropical birds and its beautiful. There are still affordable places here although it definitely can get very pricey in Boca and especially in Delray which is very desirable. This is a beautiful over 55 development and in the two-and-a-half years weve been here we have experienced none of the horror stories that you often hear about condo developments. Hopefully it will remain thus. You can still get a condo here for about between 140 and 190, 000. Maintenance fees are about 390 a month but it covers a lot of stuff. We have two beautiful club houses with gorgeous pools, saunas, and jacuzzis and they and our grounds are meticulously maintained. If youre considering moving here just do your homework. But its a great lifestyle.

I live in West Broward, and thank you for enlightening me about the dog friendly places, in S. Palm Beach County. My little 5 lb Pom, Bella has been to Mizner and Atlantic Ave. I travel with her like you do with your Poodle. Dogs are Gods gift to humans. Glad to see someone else likes traveling with their pet as much as I do. My Bella has her own carriage, and is so well behaved I have been able to take her into supermarkets, without any eye raising.

I’ve been a Delray Beach citizen all of my life born and raised and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else than South Florida other than LA. You can’t beat Delray, Deerfield, Pompano, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, and the Miami Beaches, and also the Florida Keys, it’s paradise here.

I really hope this video does not get dragged for saying, ethnic food when referring to restaurants in Delray. A friend of mine was recently called out for using that term and I rolled my eyes, but now I always notice when it is being used. Great video of a place I LOVED calling home

The $20/hour to park beach isn’t very crowded. I wonder why
I’ve been wanting to visit Boca for a while and hope to do so soon.
It’s only 1. 5 hours away from me but I’d love to be a tourist for a week!
Thanks for the heads up about the beach parking!

Don't forget about the neighborhoods where they are smoking crack in just blocks away from the places you named in Delray! No shortage of homeless people asking for money to get their next fix. Great family energy and life lessons to take in while in Delray Beach

This is Dan from Phoenix, I watch alot of travel videos etc. But have to tell you, you have a great narrative voice with good rhythm. You have a good hint of Harry Kerry which took me a while to figure out why it sounded so familiar.

I live in Boynton which is 10 minutes north of Delray. It is a little more afforadable than Boca and Delray which Real Estate Prices have skyrocketed over the last few years with the Atlantic Ave becoming popular.

I've been living here for 15 years and haven't been to most of the places you've show. I am blessed to live in a place people pay to cme and see and I need to get out more and mingle with the tourists.

Boca Raton wasn't named after the rocky inlet. It was named that because early travelers quickly realized the area had and continues to have a major rat population that is impossible to control.

These areas are ok, I just think Hollywood and Hallandale Beach is better its more things to do in those areas its more to do for the kids.

Great video sir! Pound for pound, if you had to choose the best overall location which would you pick personally (Boca vs. Delray vs. Naples)
