Visiting Peru is a must, from UNESCO World Heritage Sights like Machu Picchu to the Incan capital of Cuzco (Cusco) to the capital of Lima to the white city of Arequipa to the Nazca lines there is so much to see and do in Peru. Here we talk about the things you shouldnt do when you visit Peru. Dont Drink the Tap Water: Dont Mess with Your Health: Dont Freak Out About the Coca Leaves: Dont Bring Home Any Coca Leaves: Dont Think You Can Just Hop on the Inca Trail: Dont Be Grossed Out by the Cuy (Guinea Pig): Dont Think Peru is Just Machu Picchu: Dont Throw Your Toilet Paper Down the Toilet: the pipes in Peru cannot handle the paper, so please place all your toilet paper and other toilet products into the trash basket next to the toilet. Dont Be Afraid to Haggle in the Markets: Dont Forget to Have Cash: at tourist destinations and restaurants popular with tourists

Seems like tourism is coming back up, for anyone visiting Peru please support local indigenous native owner businesses and Afro peruvian business owners! This is very important to us if you are traveling in Peru. I have seen posts for the support for black businesses and small businesses. If you are traveling abroad (or plan to in the near future) please think of supporting primarily or mostly the indigenous native business owners and Afro peruvian business owners such as the traditional cholitas and cholitos that are street food vendors or have pop up / small shops, and or who are also craftsmen as well, tour guides, dancers, musicians, singers, artists, vendors etc. It would mean a lot from your support to our Afro peruvian business owners community and our indigenous community. I will say that our governments and populations are mostly racists / colorists and dont support whatsoever these two communities to a higher platform to what they deserve compare to the light skin mestizo Latino / Latina folks (white privileged folks. I would hope that if I write about it to shed more light on this, all I can hope for is for those that decide to travel in the future can think about eating or obtaining some sort of service interest to you think about obtaining it from these two beautiful communities that are the heart of our culture.

Some of mine learned over the years of touring and photographing Peru:
1. Don't get a taxi outside of the airport in Lima. ALWAYS have a prearranged ride via your hotel for example.
2. Don't go outside of the Mira Flores district in Lima without a guide.
3. Always check that the bottled water you bought is sealed. In villages sellers can and do refill with tap water.
4. Don't litter at sacred places (or anywhere really. I have seen tourists do this SO MANY times.
5. Either pack with you or buy there a pack of moist baby wipes. You will be thankful for this eventually.
6. Always remember the magic words please and thank you. Por Favor and Muchas Gracias. Use them liberally.
7. Always request to inspect a hotel or hostel room before just taking the key. Unless you're traveling fancy haha.
8. Bring or buy there a hiking stick. Makes a huge difference.
9. Before flying to Cusco, bag and seal any bottles of sanitizer, small shampoo, etc. they WILL pop open in your bag!

Props to you man, very nice video coverage. I'm 30 yr Peruvian and never had Cuy, I feel too weird about it. But good tips for others. I would agree about carrying money because a lot of independent handcrafted things are pretty nice to buy. However make sure you're careful not to display it all or have it separated in pockets. I would admit they tend to charge a little more for people they would see with more money. Very true about negotiating, I'm not great at it though. Anyone travelling to Peru should go very prepared or at least have in mind what they what to do or see because the different regions are far apart and can not be done in just a few days.

The cryptocurrency has charted a 10-fold rally in the past 11 months, offering a significantly higher return than gold amid the massive inflation-boosting monetary and fiscal stimulus delivered by authorities worldwide to counter the coronavirus-induced economic slowdown. I STARTED INVESTING WITH LOUIZ SOME WEEKS AGO AND I JUST RECEIVED A MASSIVE PROFIT DUE TO THE RECENT HIKE OF BITCOIN.

Also, avoid restaurants that don't have soap in the bathroom. That means the cooks probably aren't washing their hands with soap. All in all though is an amazing place to visit!
