I just changed my flight information when I discovered Kerry airport. Its close to the house Im staying in in Dingle for a few days, and like the video says, its surrounded by some of the most beautiful sites in Ireland. Its good for a novice like me to learn how to drive without stressing driving out of a big city such as Dublin and then being jet lagged only then to drive across country as soon as I land. So definitely check out the smaller airports where youll first be staying.
Now, Im wondering what to do with my cellphone. To get an intl plan while there or just buy a cheap throw away prepaid phone for $20 to make local calls and just use my phone in WiFi hotspots?

What a sad and corrupt country. I wouldn't invest my vacation money on supporting an elitest, corrupt government that has one of the highest salaries of all democratic countries and leaves the citizens of Ireland barely surviving. My son was studying fiscal responsibility in school and looked at the salaries of global leaders; shockingly, the Irish President takes more than the US President! Can you imagine! I mean what does this man do to earn more than the Russian or American President? Counting shamrocks and Boggs can't be THAT difficult. lol

As someone who has lived and worked in Ireland and holds an Irish passport, I would say visit anywhere in Europe. anywhere but the bog. The government cares so little about its people that thousands die on trollies, education has dropped to 58th in the world. yay they have a gay leader but he is an arrogant idiot. Housing is a huge crisis, homeless people walk the streets like the living dead. While I was there a Spanish group was robbed by gunmen at the Guinness store. trust me. go to Spain. Sorry. Ireland is a shithole

Great Video. My wife and I are going there in May 2020. Celebrating our 30th anniversary. While your video is very informative the comments were even more enlightening. I love all the Irish locals leaving suggestions. One commenter said don't pronounce it Ireland but do pronounce it Areland. I spent as much time reading the comments as I did watching the video. Thanks!

I want to see Cork, as that's where my family is from. Sure, I'd love to see the rest of course. I'd just like to see the pub in Cork where I would have had a pint now and again had I been born there, lol. Another part of my family is from Scotland, so I plan to go there as well. Also, I think your AMEX is everywhere I want to be.

My grandpa was an Irish immigrant but unfortunately I never got to meet him. I would love to be able to visit one day and learn more about my heritage!

One of the most enjoyable things i did in Ireland was go see the sheep dogs work on a sheep farm. Amazing to watch the dogs and owners interact.
