I stayed at several different Marriott properties earlier this month while on a trip. All offered a bag to go breakfast and they all said once we have COVID-19 under better control here in the US, that they will bring back their usual hot breakfast options. I like the room seal idea! Nice to know no one else has been in there since cleaning. All 4 places had their pools closed, but were allowing the gyms, but major limitations on how many people (unless all from the same room/family. The benefits for being a rewards member are still happening (room upgrades, but yeah, no extra stuff at check in from any of the Marriott properties I was at.

I'm going superficial and will miss concierge lounges. I've been exclusive Marriott for 20 years and many of their executive lounges are fantastic and it's not about the free hooch. They're nice places to chill but quite often my first introduction to local dishes have been through the lounge and it's fun (to me) to compare them to what's offered in the city. Baguettes, croissants, Liege waffles, Hungarian goulash, full English, Sunday roast, pierogi, schnitzel, haring, real Gouda! and countless local desserts. Yup. Rest In Peace, executive lounge.

The mask isnt for your own protection, you wearing a mask only protects others who are around you and stops you giving it to them if you have it. Also the only issue with the pool is poolside/any lounging chairs and the changing rooms chlorine does kill it pretty much instantly but a pool needs those other areas to operate properly so thats why a lot of them are closed despite the chlorine

I stayed at a Marriott Towne Place Suites outside Milwaukee for Memorial Day Weekend. Both the gym and the pool were open but you had to make a reservation for each for 45 minute time periods. Breakfast was a bag with a muffin and a granola bar instead of the buffet. Overall it felt very safe though (and kind of spooky) as there were hardly any other guests around at that time.

My husband had to travel last week in Texas & New Mexico. The La Quinta in Dallas didn't have any type of breakfast. The Hampton in west Texas still had a regular breakfast buffet. A very highly rated chain hotel that he stayed at in Albuquerque had a surprise waiting for him - someone else's leftover food in the mini-fridge. Thanks for the great tips as always!

I'm glad there's additional cleaning happening, but the biggest risk of transmission comes from the Three Cs (i. e. being in close proximity to an infected person in a poorly ventilated interior setting. So, surfaces aren't a huge risk, it appears. Stay away from other guests -- ride the elevator alone -- and hotels should be perfectly safe.

Saw on Inside Edition 3 days ago that hotels were NOT changing the sheets/pillow cases or wiping the room down. They did it by using a special spray n goop product on surfaces, they'd check out, re-book same room next day n check w/a blue light. IT WAS NASTY TO SEE NOTHING HAD BEEN CHANGED/CLEANED especially during this pandemic!

A tip we found while traveling couple of weeks ago. make restaurant reservations ahead of time, even before arriving to your location. Places may offer dining in, but they're only serving at half or limited capacity. If you don't have a reservation at a lot of places, you'll most likely not be able to dine there.

The mask is about ushering inthe NWO. Its mind control and its not saving anyone. You are a sad fool to believe that, and let our rights fly out the window. You will be the first to realize the closing down of society with all the traveling you do. Can't wait for it to catch up with you

My real recommendation is to avoid trips for the moments. Whenever you travel, you want to take all the best to remember.
I remember I got once a terrible anxiety and depression attack and despite of that, I decided to travel to Sweden. I still regret I did it.
