What to Expect on Your Summer Road Trip in 2020 - Wolters World Andrew: First of all Debra: I did a road trip from Northern California to Calgary Alberta Canada (I'm a Canadian living in the U. S. and as a Canadian citizen, was able to get into Canada. I took 3 days/2 nights on the trip. I used just about every road-side bathroom/rest area. When I checked into a hotel, I used mask and gloves. and when I got into my room, used Lysol wipes and wiped down the entire room: light switches, taps, door knobs, surfaces, remote (twice) and telephone, then tossed the gloves. Very few cars on the roads but as you said, Mark, lots of trucks. Downside: lots of road work and delays. Happy travels!

Just did a road trip from Texas to Pennsylvania and back earlier this month. Yeah, much less on the passenger car traffic. Hilarious on the we're leaving at 6 am. happened to me too, but not on the way home. Found a few rest areas closed, but mostly for repairs/work. Most were open. Definitely need good snacks on a long road trip! No, they are almost never good for you. Haha. But that's why you get out and exercise. I try to use the rest areas for that as well. Yep, Jocelyn has 3 kids. Haha.

One thing worth noting in some states like California where I am that things change at the drop of a hat is to call ahead to see is dine-in allowed or is it takeout only or are you even open to make sure you do not have any surprises. That said some national/state parks have actually been less crowded which is awesome and some were free to get into although it varies by park.
Glad to see you all safe and healthy and go enjoy yourselves!

Yes, the Illinois I-Pass system does not work in Georgia. However, if you have a Sun Pass from Florida, it does work in Georgia. We are Wisconsonites who travel to Florida all the time and we discovered on the Sun Pass website the agreement there is with Georgia. We used it for the Express lanes in Atlanta and it actually showed up on the Sun Pass bill. Hope you find this useful info. Oh and what time saver it was too.

I recognized some of the highways. Lol. We used to drive from Illinois to Clearwater/Tampa area every summer. We live in southern Illinois. It's about 30 minutes to Chester. Home of Popeye. They have statues of all the characters in town, you guys should check it out.

Biggest tip to take away from this is use the bathroom when you can! With a lot of places closed, or only allowing drive through only, bathroom options are extremely limited compared to usual. And please, please put a mask on when you're out of your car at a stop.

It's funny that you left three hours late but that would never happen if we needed to get to the airport! Road trips are super casual and usually ruled by whim indeed. Love that view of the Atlanta skyline from I-85. Lots of memories. Really enjoyed this vlog!

Guys be careful though. This pandemic is no joke. I'm sure you know that but it's easy to forget certain things like ACs. We know someone in the family who contracted the Corona virus at a hotel and is not doing too good. Be safe a I love your videos

Very cool vlog, I loved it. That was funny when Jocelyn was eating your cupcake and she said that she didn't like cupcakes lol. Oh my goodness, I now have to take a trip to Atlanta for a Chiidog at the Varsity for sure lol. Thanks, WW.
