I'll just be using my passport for domestic travel. If you already have a passport, it makes no sense to me to get a Real ID, especially since the requirements to get a Real ID are almost the same as getting a passport, except a passport allows you to travel both internationally and domestically, while a Real ID does not.

We live in a land where the real ID will track your every move soon it will tell if you're vaccinated or not I enjoy the old fashioned ID where the government did not know every move I make. Those days are gone!

so im going to new york in october and i have my REAL ID but its not a drivers license ID im a minor but i got my REAL ID so basically what im asking is if i can travel with that? just to be clear

Ohio. I only had to show my birth certificate and driver's license at the BMV, but I also had my ss# card & two current bills with my home addy. She still only needed the birth cert and license.

Washington state real ID Will say enhanced and won't have a star. You can also used this to travel by land and by sea to Canada/Mexico and some Caribbean islands.

Regular driver's license is good enough for SSA office, banks, and DMV and to drive or buy a gun or vote but not good enough to fly. What a bunch of malarkey.
