After watching your videos about worldwide destinations, I never thought you would be posting a video about what's essentially my backyard. I live near the bridges of Madison County, I even had some of my senior pictures taken at the bridge at 0: 26.
Don't forget about the Glenn Miller birthplace and museum in Clarinda!
Thank you for visiting our state, safe travels!

My family goes to the Amana colonies often, good food, nice clothes, nice nic nacs, and apparently good alcohol. (i ain't old enough to drink yet lol)
I grew up in cedar rapids and have gone to the surrounding areas but never really explored my state. I definitely show this vid to my parents so we can explore.

I am not from Iowa and was glad to hear you stay the s was silent in Des Moines because that is how I always pronounced it. Anyway I am planning on taking a couple of weeks of vacation towards the end of July so I can do the Ragbrai ride. It looks like it would be a lot of fun.

Don't. waste your time in the bigger cuties. The best food (cafes) people(from so many differant countries)and nature is in the rural areas. Best kept secret. Swiss valley in Northeast Iowa. Ski resort Fall leaves, pastural peace and quiet trout streams and babbling creeks. All seasons.

As an Iowa native who has been transplanted to Texas for the past 11 years, my mouth watered and I could taste the Casey's breakfast pizza lol! Casey's is pretty awesome. It's more like a pizza place that sells gas than a gas station that sells pizza.

Oh my. Pella, Amanda, Madison County! Who says Iowa is boring? Weve been to many beautiful countries, states and areas and I gotta tell you all, Iowa is a best kept secret. Beautiful place to live and visit! Thanks for this Mark!
