Ocean Springs is a particularly quaint and historic town on the coast and definitely worth a visit, the total opposite feel as Biloxi. I've also visited Vicksburg for the battlefield and it was a great experience, I'll be visiting Natchez next year, hopefully staying at Dunleith. And yes the Confederate flag doesn't bother me at all as a person of color since Im also from the South (Louisiana, no different than someone flying an Irish or Italian flag to show their heritage and its used for regional pride too.

I appreciate all you did making Mississippi shine, but it wouldve been so much better if you included our true face, not what looks good for views, our Capitol is predominately African American. Smh and the cities you showcased make us look old, we have cities that are architecturally superb. Not saying it was on purpose but one city cant be our face and we have so much to show, can we get a longer video please? Still great job

I will only drive now (not fly) and I want to drive to Mississippi from California. Thinking of driving I-10 then up the River Road (or whatever it is called) to Natchez then north to Jackson so I can go across the Mississippi River to Natchitoches, Louisiana and cut through Texas back to California. Can anyone advise what month(s) would be best for such a road trip? Thank you!

Glad to see someone saying nice things about my home state. But putting an image of an Ole Miss sign while talking about Vicksburg? Justno. You didnt have or couldnt find a single picture of the Illinois monument or a picture of the river from the park? Happy you emphasized manners. Please and thank you go a long way with Southerners.

The main don't is don't be black and whistle at a white woman. Mississippi is one of the most evil places on earth, the Emmett Till trial proved that. Only place where you can torture a little boy to death for no good reason and not only avoid consequences but be held as a hero for it. I hate mississippi

It's ok to say Sweet tea or unsweet. Try the Luch Box in Waveland Ms on our Coast=the PO boys are close to our New Orleans food A lot of us here on the Coast are from Louisiana, we speak different the north of the I ten. The Luch box food is good price, locally owned, Best Food for tummy and wallett.

Great video! As a local, you hit the nail on the head! BUT you forgot to mention the great beaches we have on the coast. It's honestly a completely different experience in Coastal Mississippi than the rest of the state. I'd love to hear your thoughts about it.
