When the movie came out, I thought that I must go see it. I had such a lump in my throat afterward. At the end of the movie, when it was said 'Go well my children', it seemed like it was my mother saying that, to myself and my brother, only sibling. I then got the DVD, in memory of my mother.

Thanks Mark. I've always thought that Iowa was the least distinctive state in the Union. There is nothing in particular that sets it apart from the states surrounding it. Which then makes it the most American state. And from what you've shown Iowa has much that is still very good about America.

If I lived in the states I'd go visit it. unfortunately I'm from Britain and thats a little too far for a museum/wineries/bridges. but that does sound like a nice day out if it was doable in a day.
