we head to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge for the all new Lion King prix fixe dinner menu in celebration for the Lion King movie. This dinner includes a starter, a main, a dessert and some special treats at the end, even some tea to take home. We started with a clam and bone marrow dish, which was surprisingly delicious! The entire dinner had a story that related to the Lion King that went along with each dish, it was very themed and thoughtful. Next we had our mains, Tim had the bone in ribeye and I had the seafood coconut curry dish with saffron rice. Both were excellent and had a ton of flavor. Lastly we had the Hakuna Matata dessert, which was a chocolate eclair sort of dish with flavors of caramelized orange. I loved it, but Tim not so much lol. The full pre fixe menu included 3 courses and was $65 per person. We both felt that this was a great deal for a Disney signature dining experience and would definitely recommend it and do it again

We enjoyed your review! We don't have any specific aversions to that seafood, but it was interesting to hear how they accommodated your table. We got to go on opening night for this Lion King feast, and we enjoyed both dishes a lot, especially the steak. But the seafood/shellfish dish was excellent, too. We happened to sit in the same section and got to watch the musical gents circle (of life) around us a few times. Our server and the manager were especially pleasant and on top of things. Overally, like you all said, as fancy meals go, this is a very good one.
Circle on, Tim and Jenn! Thanks for showing people around!

I was so crazy pumped to try this meal! My 11 year old even got his own bone marrow and clams and he ate his entire giant steak! The musicians were so talented and really added to the experience. Our server was a total dud. She acted like we were a huge inconvenience to her, we had to ask for the tea, and she never did bring us our cute little gummies. It was still a fun experience! And it was really fun to watch this video with our own experience in our memory bank.

Unlike many in the comments, I love bone marrow and a lot of the ingredients. I'm also a huge fan of well spiced dishes and flavours from around the world, even the more strange sounding ones. However, the execution of all the dishes looked a little off, in my opinion. I feel like they needed a bit more planning to perfect the execution and flavour combos.

Tim its was not so long ago both you and Jen left YouTube and all social media I can only imagine what took you both to that place which has brought you so much happiness. Since coming back you videos have taken new perspective and joy so keep that journey and may that fulfillment continue.

The setting was nice but sorry I don't think this was worth the cost at all. I think there is equally good if not better food that doesn't have 40% extra added for being Disney. If it had been half the price I would have said it was worth it, but not that amount.

As soon as you described that dessert I knew you would hate it Tim! Chocolate and orange is a no no for you! lol I would have eaten the dessert, but some of that food I just couldn't. I am not as adventurous in the food department as you two are!

Their ignorance and fakeness for paid advertising is disgusting. I would be ashamed if they were my kids or family members. Same as car salesmen. Filth.

Aw, come on Jen. You can't eat a little biddy baby squid. It's had no life at all. That's not fair. One restaurant that's definitely off my list to do.

Of course a bone marrow represents Simbas playful childhood. Lol. Trying to link this food to Lion King is s bit daft. There is no sea either.

Only thing I just can't eat rare meat showing blood, oh god no! Mine has to be well well done in order to eat it. My stomach just turned watching
