we head to Disney World's Magic Kingdom for a date night! We've been working so hard on the nursery, we just wanted to go out and have some fun at Disney! We started with a Dumbo fastpass and then we rode The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh! We had dinner at Pinocchio's Village Haus, we split something so we could also try another budget friendly meal to show you guys some different options. Then we had second dinner at Pecos Bills, we liked the meal from here better and it was cheaper! Then we ended the night by watching the Happily Ever After Fireworks show in Fantasyland behind the carousel. It was the best end to the best date night! We had so much fun and we're happy you could join us!

Actually, the real Pooh Bear is from Canada. Winnipeg, Winnie, was the mascot of the Veterinary Corps of the Canadian Expeditionary Force in World War One. When they were dispatched to the Front, Winnie was donated to the London Zoo for safekeeping, as there was no way she could be taken care of in any safe manner in France.
If youre interested in learning more, theres a series of one minute History Vignettes up here in Canada trying to get our Stories out there and they did one of Winnie. All of them are on here. All you have to do is put in Heritage Minutes in the Search feature and that should take you straight to the Playlist. Check out the entire listing while youre at it, as weve got some amazing Stories about People and Events that the Heritage Minutes tell.
Then if youre wanting more than just a Minute. A few years ago the CBC made a Movie telling her story called A Bear Named Winnie or A Bear Called Winnie. Cant remember which at the moment, but its either one or the other. Michael Fassbender plays Capt. Colbourne in it and its both a really good movie and also a great telling of Winnies story. Only thing, the person who uploaded it here on YouTube did it in chunks, so its not a complete watch through Movie, but like in Chapters. The entire Movie is on here though.
Just thought you might be interested in learning a bit more about everyones favourite Bear.

Sorry about that passion fruit comment guys! We totally thought that was one of the things we couldn't have, whoops! There are so many restrictions, we can't keep them straight sometimes, so we figured we'd just play it safe but now we know it's totally ok and beneficial during pregnancy. Thanks for all the comments, we appreciate it: -)

As a Canadian, I remembered that there is a Canadian connection to Winnie the Pooh. The real Winnie the Pooh was an orphan cub taken to London by a Canadian soldier in 1914and left in the London Zoo. When in the zoo, it became the inspiration to the British author A. A. Milne. Just FYI.

Love your videos! I believe the reserve section you mentioned at the 1: 35 mark is the firework viewing spot for VIP tour guide participants. Back in May, we hired a VIP tour, and when we finished the night at MK, this is the roped off section we watched the fireworks from.

Our 3 year old saw this on our YouTube feed & she shouted that we need to watch Tim Tracker. I'd rather her watch you guys than a lot of the junk out there these days. And you're feeding her Disney addiction. Haha!

Wait though, if the buildings in that area have caught on fire from the fireworks before, and you're standing in that area. aren't you a little bit worried that fireworks might land on you and catch you on fire?

My favorite place to watch fireworks in Magic Kingdom is on the walkway leading up to Be Our Guest. I accidentally witnessed them while waiting for a reservation there in 2012 and oh boy, it was amazing.

I was there the day Seven Dwarfs caught fire. I didnt realize it a first as there was Extra Magic Hours and was in Philharmagic. I came out and bam! Fire trucks and firefighters everywhere! Intense
