Im a chef on a really small island in the caribbean with also a lot of different culturers. But here almost every food is standard and boring. Except for a couple of european owned restaurants. So when I see your videos Mark I'm getting jealous.
Here we have only imported standard products. And your videos the foods are looking so fresh and delicious and most of al made with love.

Satun is my hometown. I lived there for a half of my life and still try to be back there as soon as possible. I absolutely love the way it is. It's small but so peaceful and really simple, especially the food which is very tasty! Thank you for making me miss my home and this clip brings me home in about 1year. LOL

I hope that next time you'll show us a short glimpse of a map to show your location every time you introduce where you are which usually happens at the beginning of your videos. I think that would be a great addition to your videos. It would also be helpful for us. Anyway, great videos Mark!

You should really give a real opinion of the food you eat. Everything is good to you especially when you add tons if chilli. How many people can withstand the spiciness. So please address these issues to cater to the the natural pu lic but not you personal addiction essential to chillies.

Great insight in Southern Thai culinary diversity. Nam Prik Kapi is just awesome. I think I had it five times in the last week. And Sator as well. I can't wait to eat them again. But here on Koh Samui they are not in season yet. Soon to come. soon to come: )

I used to go to Koh Lipe in the early 2000's, i went the like three times. The people are great, as they are everywhere in SE Asia, and Satun is an amazing place to visit. Those were the days, good times and a lot of Mekong!
