we head Disney Springs to see what's new and check on some of the construction progress of the upcoming shops and restaurants, new merch and more. We started with some news about Cirque Du Soleil, AMC, Gideon's Bakehouse and the bar closures. Then we take a look at some merch, most of it was the same from the last update video. Then we head over to Saratoga Springs Resort and we see some wild otters in the Sassagoula waterway, that was so awesome! We also saw some herons, seeing the wildlife was great! Then we head back into Disney Springs but we had been walking in the Florida heat for a few hours and wearing our mask the whole time so we wanted to see if that would affect our temperature check screening. It did not, we passed the temperature check, but it was a question that we get frequently so we wanted to test it out. We had a great day at the Springs!

Tim its sad but i think its over for America remember the c. e. o. left in December! along with 140 other ones. The federal reserve is buying up every thing for penny's on the dollar. They change THE rules to keep numbers up and us locked down! Disney will close bye Sept. The new rules in a Texas county starting today any with one with the virus that gos to a store any one in the store will be then suspected And COUNTED as HAVING the VIRUS>> this is NUTS and coming to a town near YOU. fl. and TX. especially! THIS WILL create thousands of bogis cases a day! and I don't believe it has any thing to do with a virus ITS FRAUD i don't know how or why but this is serious look it up fore your self! Thank you for your honest reporting and expert observations that only you could pick up on! we need to get our houses in order bye fall this is not going away. THE governments gone mad they are also cutting off the food supply chain again check it out your self. good luck everyone.

I was wondering if the heat would make your body temperature rise. But you're a Floridian. I think, if I would be there, a very pale European. :p I think the heat would affect my body temperature.
Oh my gosh those otters! So cute: )
So excited for that Gideons Bake Shop! The cookies in your previous video looked like their cookies but smaller: ) Yum!
Yeah, totally right about the whole 'not worth the money to travel to Florida atm'! I'm kinda glad we are not allowed to leave Europe because we had our first WDW trip planned for April. Covid happened. moved it to August because: yeah Covid will be over by then. gosh: p moved it to April next year now. It's all so confusing and frustrating and it does cost us a lot of money and we will probably lose some of that money sadly. Hope that this will all pass and we will be able to travel to WDW soonish.
Stay safe over there! x

personal temperature all depends on the person. There is no guarantee that everyone will be fine in different settings. Your temp can change from minute to minute. i had to have a visiing nurse for a while and mine changed within a 5 minute span of 3 degrees. ( i asked them to take it twice because i was curious if it would) And this was sitting in my house not moving from the chair. .
. another example. was in a nursing home for a while. under blankets (over head--noisy bright cold place) sleeping soundly and nice and toasty when they came to take my temp in rounds. Was just shy of 100. they had 5 staff in there within a minute asking all kinds of questions about how i feel. i finally realized the higher temp was because of the blankets. had them take it again. LOL. 96 I was actually colder than normal just in that short period of time.

Dude, working out doing 20 pushups, jogging for 2 blocks in the neighborhood, or even a 10 minute run on a treadmill in the cool air conditioned room of the local gym will make the scanner go crazy and say you have the killer sickness. They never perfected the testing system yet, they did tests on fruits/vegetables that came up positive. They are just trying to use scare tactics to control everyone. Cut the marionette strings attached to your mask bro. I've never had one on since day one, and I'm still not sick with anything, nor are my family or friends. Next thing you'll probably hear them saying pets can get it and that they too should wear the muzzle, whoops, I meant to say 'mask'.

Those otters are so cute. I know what you mean about booking now. I would love to come in Sept. or Oct. but I tend to stay at Swan/Dolphin which is closed for now at least. Coordinating getting a hotel and buying tickets and booking a park all at the same time is a nightmare. We tend to not even book FPs any more in advance than the day before much less know what park we want to go to one a specific day and we have never been without park hoppers. I guess I am in wait and see mode, thank goodness we have a RV so at least we can go to State Parks in Georgia and Alabama right now.

We went to Busch Gardens on Sat. and while walking to the temperature screening tent we joked how hot it was from the air conditioned car to the tent. The sun was burning my forehead. I was scanned twice and failed. The screener let me stand by the air blower and said if I fail the screening a 3rd time she would have to send me to the other tent. not sure what that meant, but on the 3rd scan my temp was fine. It was extremely hot that morning. The screener was friendly and sweet about the whole thing. I'm assuming it has happened often because of her reaction to it all.

I have an upcoming trip to Disney in October. My trip is not paid for but I was allowed to make reservations for the parks. You were saying in this video that the trip had to be paid for before you make park reservations but I didnt. Idk if it was because I already had the hotel booked. My park tickets are paid for ( since I was suppose to do this trip in March 2020) but my hotel is not.
I also LOVED the otters! I dont understand the bar things either. I love Dockside margaritas!

I booked 2021 august (im from uk) and booked through the walt disney world site and this is with park passes included. After about 14-21 days, you can hook up your reservation to my disney experience. Once park reservations opened, it took a couple of hours wait time to get onto the reservations platform, but we did it and got them all booked. So if you go through wdw and book through them with park tickets, you can make reservations.

We just stayed at Grand Floridian this week. It was great! As far as the masks go. we wore them in any public areas. The only times we took them off was in our room, while eating in public areas, and on the pool deck. At the pool everyone was social distancing as much as possible. It wasn't as bad as we expected to wear our masks at the resort, and the lack of crowds was great!

The heat can most certainly give you a fever, but you need to be exposed to ALOT of it for long periods of time. Primarily sunburns can cause it as once your skin starts burning you can start to become rather sick as well.
Anyone who isnt native to Florida should know better than to hang out in the sun too long down here during the summer. You will melt for sure.
