Tim, when you and Jenn did the sunrise to sunset vlog I thought to myself you would have been successful if you had stayed at the beach the night before, that hotel would have been perfect. It seemed like you lost steam part way through so starting at the beach lets you start better rested.
I loved your walk around the area at sunset, I could almost feel the balmy air. And I love that peek into the 60ish hotel, those old pastel-painted hotel/motels on the back roads were my first clue we were finally in Florida when we visited my grandparents 'back in the day'.

Just an important note from a mom to you both. I live in Arizona and on our news the other day, a 1 year old baby girl found an unknown pill in a hotel in Phoenix recently. They were able to get it out of her mouth, called 911 and in the meantime she went into cardiac arrest. Just something to be aware of when you stay at hotels with Jackson. I know the housekeepers do not comb the rooms as good as they should and people leave things behind. For some reason, kids find EVERYTHING. Just look everywhere, near the sides of the bed, bathrooms, all over.

We were in Daytona for the weekend and drove down to New Smyrna on Saturday because I was so excited to finally get to eat at Norwoods after seeing it online last year. Seems we missed our favorite Disney family by a couple of days! I wouldve been so shocked to see them on such a random occasion! Nice beach and we had Twistee Treat ice cream for dessert which was delicious and the building is shaped like a giant ice cream cone

I went to that Treehouse Restaurant on Christmas Eve! Unfortunately when I went, they only had maybe 10 items on the menu. The food we had was pretty good but they got my husband's order completely wrong: -( Not sure if I'd go back but it was an interesting place.

Isn't New Smyrna Beach the beach that's known for the highest amounts of shark attacks and shark-related deaths in the world. or the USA or something? I saw it on multiple lists of the most dangerous beaches in the world lol.

Do yawl ever go eat at Dixie Cross Roads out there near New Symerna? If you're not familiar with it they have good seafood, know for their corn fritters, and they have a giant koy pond that yawl can feed the fish.

We ate at Norwood's in June of last year, while we still lived in Palm Coast, before moving to Orlando. I made a Tiktok of my pictures from there too. It is such a cool place to eat at, with good food.

My daughter hates mashed potatoes too. She loves to chew on her food, so I do think it's the texture of it, because she does love potatoes and anything else 'potato'. So weird, right?

If you guys ever come back to CA (woo woo) and the San Diego area, I recommend visiting Paradise Point Resort and Spa! I think you guys and Jaxson would have a BLAST! Check it out!
