I lived in Ansbach Germany for almost 2 years while being in the Army and we drank Wiesen beer year round not just in the Fall and ate among other great food Shashlik(sp. We would go to this restaurant called the Cafe Zum Lam and eat some of the best food I ever ate! The baked onion soup was the best ever. We are this one dish called, klina filet mit curried rice about once a week it was so good. Thinking about it know makes my mouth water. I know I've misspelled a lot of things but it's been about 50 years since I was there.

Just a little tip here - The classic way to carry the mug aint holding the handle like you do, but put your hand right through and directly touch the Masskrug like you are shaking hands with a good old friend. Nice and firmly

Always tempted by these packages at the airport to bring back to the family for gifts, problem is I'm too tempted to drink them myself.
Love how you rectify the pouring problem by drinking straight out of the can. Prost!

my german friend named max he told me that there is a game they would play at a party if u have a bottled beer and u are holding it from the bottom not the sides and some one taps the head of your beer u have to chug it lol

. Boy I would Like to Get 1 Of those MUGS. But we DO have a Nice German-style Restaurant in Downtown Montreal. Called the Bier-Markt. And Steins that are the Same as Yours Mark. 1 Liter.

I have a few of these mugs. Some from Munchen and others from LCBO (ontario ppl know. but some great beer there. Schneider Weisse is also one of my favourites! :)
