Route 66 Road Trip Stops in Kansas - Through My Lens

Route 66 crosses the corner of Kansas and only stays in the state for around 12 miles. During that time, you can see a few small towns with some historic attractions like the Old Riverton Store, Galena Mining Museum and the Brush Creek Bridge. Most of the stuff was closed when we went through the state but it was still fun to see another state on Route 66 during our two-week journey Jasper: I will echo everyone elses opinion that your videos are great. We are doing Route 66 this year on bikes. There are lots of good videos on things to do and history, and yours are at the top. Not many videos on the best route and how the route is broken. Any tips on staying on track?

Thanks for the information, from route 66 history of Kansas and things that are cool to see. Its well worth the time and travel to get to this historic places along the Mother Road. Good luck with your travel trip.

If you put whole trip, all states, in one video (and add more footage: D, and start selling on DVD or steaming - I'm buying. :D
I did Route 66, but now I see many places I missed. :(

Cool video dude it's sucks that you and your dad didn't get to go to all of the places due to them being closed early but at least you told us the history of the places you saw outside.

Enjoy watching your videos! Only thing is I want to linger and take it all in. Not long enough! Guess that's what happens when your traveling with someone else. Lol!

You didn't explain why so many sites were closed. Permanently? Holiday? Late in the day? Sunday? Without some explanation, it's harder to plan ahead for our trip.
