Thank you to Visit Copenhagen: During our 2 week trip to Copenhagen, Denmark, we rented an apartment in a local area of the city. It was a fantastic area, a quiet and friendly neighborhood, but just a short distance from downtown Copenhagen. In this video, I-m going to give you a full video of our apartment in Copenhagen. Vesterbro - When I mentioned we were staying in Vesterbro to many locals in Copenhagen, many mentioned that they loved the area, and that it was one of their favorite neighborhoods in Copenhagen. And I figured out why pretty quickly - the area is quiet and peaceful, yet not far from downtown, it has a nice friendly feel to it, and there are many great restaurants, cafes, and shops in the area. I would highly recommend Vesterbro when you visit or live in Copenhagen, I loved the area. Total price - The price to rent this apartment on a short term basis like we did, was $189 per night, which came with two bedrooms, and a full house. It-s still not cheap, but when you compare it to a hotel room in Copenhagen, it-s much more affordable and you get much more space

The apartment is a very common style in Copenhagen. Older, cluttered and very romantic in the style with a lot af small rooms - must be a family apartment, no student or young person could afford that in Copenhagen. A lot of places in Denmark the typical apartments are very modern and spacious typical with 2-3 rooms of a livingroom/kitchen/entryway/dining area, two bedrooms/office and a bathroom: ) But this is definitely the charm of Copenhagen.

I know you paid for staying there but isn-t it a bit rude and weird that you filmed someone-s apartment in detail, went through their possessions and uploaded it on the internet for everyone to see? Idk the background for it if they approved or anything I-m just asking because if I was the owner of it, I wouldn-t be happy about that

I would not want to have to ride a bike in Copenhagen if it was really cold out especially if it was cold rain or sleet. or really windy and cold. Forget that it's going to be really depressing riding a bike in bad weather. especially if you have to go to work like that and maybe feel chilled to the Bone all day at work.

In Denmark, there is DENMARK, and there is Copenhagen. Two very different things. I love DENMARK, I would never live in Copenhagen. I tried for a year and moved back to Jutland. People are different, and Copenhagen is a small weird community in itself. You don't know Denmark if you only have visited Copenhagen.

I've been to Copenhagen once on a overnight layover. In my short time there I managed to see 2 museums, got arrested by plain cloth police for arguing with a bartender, met a nice pot head dude who invited me to his flat where I got laid by his sister. Overall a decent experience.

I don't know if you go anywhere without a sponsor like Visit Copenhagen.
But you might want to visit Jutland to try really traditional Danish food(and cheaper.
What I've seen from Copenhagen mostly seems like modern(hipster) takes on traditional dishes.

It seems like a nice place I would love to visit. One day I am looking to move to another country if possible. I don't hate where I live now but jobs and health are very poor and I think life quality would be better elsewhere.

I don't understand why people think bicycling everywhere is this -amazing- thing. Do you know how miserable that would make everyones lives. The last thing I want to be on in the cold, rain, and snow is a bicycle. No thanks.

You said that you think that the apartments in Vesterbro are not too expensive yet. That is definitely not the case. I live in Vesterbro and the prices are sky high - probably one of the highest in all Denmark.

There can be found cheaper Apartments and hotels in Copenhagen. Depends on the size and location.
Frederiksberg can be cheaper than Copenhagen Centrum and is a couple of minuts away from Copenhagen Centrum.
