Persepolis - Better known locally as Takht-e Jamshid, was the capital of the ancient Achaemenid Empire of Persia. Cyrus the Great, Darius, and Xerxes, were all involved with the building and development of Persepolis. With immense history and importance, I was excited to have a chance to visit during our trip to Iran. #Iran #IranianFood #Persia #Persepoli Although most of the Persepolis city is now in ruins, destroyed by a variety of reasons, what remains tells a story and is a reminder of the might of Ancient Persia. What I especially enjoyed were the detailed rock carvings, showing stories of wars and triumph from the cultures and people. Truly a must visit destinations when you are visiting Iran. Mohamad Restaurant - After visiting Persepolis, we then headed to Mohamad Restaurant, what is an Iranian food restaurant especially popular among truck drivers. It was my kind of place, laid back ambiance, chilled out space, and delicious local food. Here are the main dishes we ordered: Gheimeh - split pea stew Akbar Joojeh - fried chicken, pomegranate sauce Salad Shirazi - Persian cucumber salad Kalam Polo - Cabbage rice Another great day, amazing people, and delicious food in Iran! Thank you to Ghasr Setareh for arranging our trip to Iran. Friends in the video: Mr. Taster: Persia Tour Guide: Rambod: Ali

You know, in every culture, I love how they show their living hospitality to their guests. I-m from the Philippines and our hospitality is way beyond but the Iranians take it to another awesome level. I priced how Mr Taster, since Mark is his guest, lovingly offers Mark the first bite of each food before he serves himself, and the most special I saw was spoon feed Mark. That is so touching for me because that gesture in the Philippines shows the love of a mother to her child no matter how old. My mom when she was alive, when I-m sick spoon feeds me and my brother no
Matter how old we were. When I saw Mr. Taster spoon fed Bark with his first bite, it made me tear up and missed my dearly beloved mother. That-s one of the highest level of gesture you can show your affection and hospitality to your guest!

Afghanistan Iran Pakistan we serve our guests with pleasure for us money and other things doesn-t matter unlike some western country like I live in Netherlands people escape when they see a guest they are not welcoming even there parents and always trying to save money unlike our culture they haven-t so many connections parties and no food taste no spice nothing what I mean by parties is that we at less have information about each other by social media Or going to each other homes at less every week

Food is falling out of your mouth because there is not enough room yet you add more food in anyway and then after only a bite or two start talking. How polite. Oooh, and now talking while you are chewing and interrupting both your chewing and talking to add more food to your mouth. Here-s an idea. Pick one and stick to it. Wait to talk until you swallow your food and don-t take another bite until you finish what you want to say.

In recent years, the United States wants to show Iran to the world as a bad country through media propaganda, but Iran has the best food. Iran has very kind and hospitable people who welcome tourists, Iran has a very rich culture, Iran has a very long history. Yes, Iran has beautiful cities, but some countries are jealous of Iran, people around the world should know that Iran is not what is shown on CNN and Fox News

pay attention to the minute 10 of this video. the salad on the table is called -salad Shirazi- in Iran. Israel has recently stolen the Idea (it is now even recognized as the cultural heritage of Israel, haaaa
haaaaaa) and named it as -Israeli salad-. and, that's fine! I mean, I don't care who invented it (maybe Iranians, maybe Iranian Jews, or whoever; ), it just tastes awesome. but you get the Idea!

I love Mr, Taster. he is just like you Mark. all goodness and so funny! The sweetest spirit! What a historical place, Iran is! it-s like going inside the Old Testament! Is Ra the god of the sun? I love to go see these beautiful places! The carvings tell the story of how it all began from generation to generation.

Mark why do you let your friend the taster always have too food you like you are a baby and not a man, the Taster should taste it first and tell you what it taste like. We do not see you feed your little boy like that, so why do we have to see you look helpless?

I-ll never crave McDonald-s again after watching these videos. What a range of amazing and authentic food! I wish I could taste everything, but at least I can try to get inspiration to cook this myself (with what I have in hand in Sweden)-

Lovely video mate. It brings me joy that you enjoyed our country so much. I hope you can go again sometime.
Ps. The flowers on the ruins aren't sunflowers, they're tulips. In Iranian, it's golle laleh (-- ----.
