How I Afford to Travel 12 Months a Year? Maxine: I really like how you fund your travels around to different countries. I also had a lovely childhood though I wished to go abroad. On our British holidays I heard foreign languages and wished to go to those places. When I was 13 years old I got a paper round and I saved up enough money to visit a Greek Island with my mom. On our way home we got to see Athens and it amazed me with its historical sites. Then I worked on Saturdays in a shop when I was 16 to 18 years old. I saved up enough money to visit Amsterdam with a friend. Yes, we were 17 years old and it was exciting. I got a job in Finland and with my high wages managed to travel all around Europe by train. I was left money in my great aunt's will so I bought a little cottage in a village. My sister bought a studio apartment in a town nearer London. I worked for a company in London and two years into it I was made redundant. There was wide unemployment at that time. I decided to let my cottage and go off traveling. I had a rental income to keep me happy over my year around the world. That was in the days before the Internet.

Traveling 365 is not for everyone. You see mostly the fun and interesting things in his video, but 80% of the time is like any another day.
Don't get me wrong, it still intereating look at new things every day, but most people are attach to their pets, friends and family.
Probably since Jacob started young, he doesn't have that attachment to his friends, town or family and doesn't get home sick at all.
The most i can get away from home is one month. After that i get pet, home, work and town sick. I need to get back to my normal life.
It doesn't hurt to try the nomad life to see if it is for you, but the older you start, the harder it will be.
Nice trips.

Hi, Jacob I am 15 yrs old and also live in a small country of Ireland. I always wanted to travel the world and become financially independent. However I never thought I could do it till I'm older listening to your videos I got inspired and did some research. I would love to start an online business but I don't really know how to come about it, do your have any tips or maybe could you make a video about how to set up your own online business with little money available. It would help me out a lot. Love your videos continue inspiring

But how are you working things out with a return ticket. Im trying to start my digital nomad life but you can only be in certain countries for a certain amount of time. If you have to leave the country after 30 days and book another ticket do you just book several tickets? That seems like a lot of money to book multi-destination trips all at once. I get paid every two weeks and want it to work where I can pay as I go. Does that make sense?

Great Video! I wish I have see this video 10 years ago: )
Finally I decide to trade in the stock market with an online broker. I'm in the process of learning and hopefully teach others in the futures. Life should be a pleasure for everyone no. Sadly most of us have been taught that life is about hard work for the benefit of others.

I want a digital nomad to tell us something they never say: exactly HOW MUCH money do you need per month to live this way. I work remotely for myself and I could technically do it, but I still don't think I could afford it at this point and time.
