Return to Japan Vlog Day 7 // Mt. Kumotori - Start of the Hike uptrail71: Excellent Video! Now that was a good climb! The packs and camera gear must have made it much harder since it looked like it was all uphill. When we hiked up to Cloud Peak, Wyoming last summer the thin air made it a lot more difficult. The last 2, 000 feet was rock scrambling up to the 13, 167 ft summit. If you haven't yet checked out the video you guys should watch it. It would make a good future trip for Adventure Archives. Bob

As soon as I saw how bright that sun was I had a feeling the sunset at the end of the day would be amazing. It did not disapoint.
I can only imagine how hard that hike was Robby. Ya'll look completely beat. XD
That cabin at the end is like the ultimate RPG like experience. You get to the end of a tough dungeon and you've got a warm meal, a nice place to stay and an amazing view. It doesn't get any better then that.

Man that must be one hella mountain seeing you out breath climbing it! I wonder why Bryan doesnt talk very much in every video, is he shy? Lol
-Pasti boleh! - is how you say -You can do it! -, Malaysian style haha. Good vlog as always, looking forward for the full hiking video!

Lovely episode fellas! Could really feel everything. Robby slowly hiking up and talking was hilarious. And the little cabin with asahi at the top lol. Nice little treat with probably one of your more rewarding views. Would love to go hiking with you guys someday!

That's pretty amazing that there is a cabin at the top stocked with refreshments. How do they get supplies, by people packing supplies up or what? At John Muir Trails, they use horses or mules, but the trails looked too narrow for horses.

seems like you guys don't do much talking, and what about plants and wild edible plants, I don't hear that anymore on this hiking with us guys lol, what's the difference between usa national parks and Japan? ?

Did you talk to that guy at the hut up there? Does he live there year round just to rent out the campsite and sell food? That's just so interesting. Wonder if they have that on other Japanese mountains.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy watching you guys. Seen all your video's. The Japan series has been the most enjoyable to date. So were the Smokey Mountains. Thank you!

Awesome video! You guys said it was 2000m of elevation, which is about what we have where I live in BC. Just wondering how long the trail was for a comparison?
