China Vlog Day 4 // Paddling a Metal Canoe // 2017. 4. 24 Monday Serena: The terraced slopes and green hills (16: 43) are beautiful! Really enjoyed the slow-motion shots of the carvings and surroundings (17: 56. - It's really neat that your relatives would take time away from whatever they usually do on a Monday (e. g. work, etc) to show you guys around Pujiang! Very kind and hospitable. -
By the way, the calligraphy is amazing! I'm not an expert at all, but it looks incredible. As always, the food looks delicious! -

These videos really capture the surreal experience you must have been feeling. Getting taken from place to place to place not always knowing what was going on, feeling like everyone knows something you don't. It is amazing how immense of an itinerary your extended family made for you guys. It looks absolutely incredible, and I can't wait to finish the series!

I study landscape planning at Uni and I learned last week that Germany exports a lot of the -offcuts- from our chicken and pork to China since we don't like to eat them here that much. It often is high quality, too: D
Anyways, great singing guys, and I loved some of the scenery shots

Yeah, Canadians can get pretty snooty about paddling strokes. There-s even a popular a stroke called the Canadian stroke. But, you are so right, any way you paddle is the right way to paddle as long as your moving the boat in the right direction.

You guys are doing such a service in filming all the Chinese countryside. People need to be reminded that not everything in China revolves around communism and knockoff goods. There's a lot of really really really old history there.

Dude, the pride that goes into all the artistical value is mind blowing, except the bad version of that Michael Jackson song, lol.
I think we as everyday Americans could take a lesson from everyday Chinese folks.

Your Grandmothers brothers kid is your father's first cousin and your first cousin once removed. Their kids would be your second cousins. You guys were cute as kids! Looks like Robby found a friend! -
