Visited Batuk just last year at sea front had booked 2 bed apt complete with kitchenette facilities friendly people the walk at the beach resort was very children friendly with different rides they could indulge in and keep themselves occupied visited a botanical garden and a dolphin show there was a mall nearby about 1000 km away and the local fare was also very interesting; the food n the upmarket area was really delicious and there were many people enjoying in open pubs and singing wth rare bonhomie! The varied local ice creams esp the pistachio Choc and coffee were something to die for. also the steaming corn on the cob. I visited in the latter half of the year and the climate was such that it kept drizzling on & off interspersed with the scalding sun! Certainly I would recommend it as a go to tourist destination! - an eye surgeon from Mumbai India. Very Clean precincts!

Batumi looks gorgeous, like the Miami or Dubai of Georgia and I'm sure most people haven't even heard about this city! I heard the name for the first time only a few years ago. Stunning architecture, both the modern and old buildings, the city looks very rich.

Apart from the beautiful scenery and buildings, the part of the video I like most is how gentle and respectful the drivers are towards pedestrians and other cars.

-Orbi Group- - they look like they're making money building stuff right now. I would go to Batumi, but I would want to have a car. Walking does not look fun.

Its impressive how much georgia is improving! There is still a lot to do but when you compare it with the early 2000s its like two different worlds.
