Greece, easily number 1. Greece has everything possible, although many people don't know all that Greece is. But it has 80% mountains and the most dramatic and spectacular landscapes of any kind. Also 20% of all of Europe's Ultra peak mountains lies in Greece. Then it has 16. 000 km of the most crystal clear beaches and the most bluest of colors, and these beaches come in every possible variety imaginable. Then it has a breathtaking mainland and 6000 breathtaking islands each unique.
Then it has an incredible culture, unparalleled history, most historic museums, incredibly picturesque towns and villages from the mountains to the sea. It has so many geological paradises also, 32% forests, the highest biodiversity in Europe and also the highest endemic species in Europe because of Greece's 80% mountains and islands all creating isolation, making the nation exceptionally diverse for it's size. And ofcourse the perfect climate, the most warmhearted people and heavenly cuisine makes this nation something truly special.
All in all in Greece you can hike in the morning in vast mountains, find archaeological sites of timeless history meanwhile, end up at the incredible sea for a swim, take in heavenly food while watching the sunset from an incredible photogenic town or village. And there are only very few countries on the planet with all that combination. But out of those very few nations, in these nations one has to travel 1200 km for the first mountains, 2000 km for the first sea. and 500 km for the first archaeological or historical site. In Greece you can find it e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e at every corner of the nation.
The only reason why Ryan himself hasn't placed the nation even higher for his personal list is because he hasn't even seen 98% of the rest of the nation. 3 times vacation to Greece is nice! but you need 100 times to enjoy it in all it's spectacular beauties

You should visit the Philippines as soon as possible before our country becomes another Thailand.
You should visit the very stunning island of Palawan where you can find the world famous El Nido, or you could visit the quieter & more serene version of El Nido which is called Coron. Another beautiful place that is fast becoming popular is Siargao in the South. It is famous for surfing. They said it was the version of Bali more than 40 yrs ago (minus the Hindu culture since we're Catholics. Another one you should look out is Batanes Island in the North. It is like the little daughter of New Zealand & Scotland, with lots of greeneries, hills, cliffs. Total paradise!
If you're into roads less travelled by, there are so many places to visit here: beaches, islands, lagoons, waterfalls, volcanoes, mountains, 2000 years old rice terraces, ancient art of tattooing, swimming with whale sharks, swimming with thresher sharks, cliff diving, snorkeling & scuba diving at so many reefs & coral Gardens. Philippines is the place to be.

I've been to that football field in Henningsvaer! So cool. It was really windy though, so I didn't get as many drone shots as I wanted to. I love Lofoten, though! When were you there? Were you at the Arctic Coworking Lodge by chance? It's so surreal to think that I might not be getting on a plane this year, even though I found a few countries accepting tourists at the moment. Good chance to catch up on editing old photos and videos, though! Where are you locked down?

Based on the types of places you've enjoyed in your videos, I suggest you try and make a trip to southern Portugal coast. Crazy red and gold colored cliffs and rock formations meeting crystal clear water in a scalloped pattern creating dozens of sandy coves accessible by wooden staircases. Search Lagos on Googlemaps, switch to aerial view and 3D option and start look south down the coast from the city.

PS I had no idea how cheap Athens was until I went there! It's underrated and definitely grows on you. Totally different vibe compared to Santorini and the islands, but cool place. I got fresh juices for 2-3. Will have to check out the coast of Bulgaria. I've spent a lot of time in the mountains and Sofia but not Varna yet. Sick shots! Belize looks AMAZING. Which drone do you use?

When I was young, I dreamed of travelling around the world, see beautiful places and meet and it's people. Now, I'm 63 years old and been to only three countries to work and already resigned to that dream. So, I decided to just let the world travel around me instead of travelling around it!

The Dolomites are beautiful. I was there last summer with my friend for hiking. I'd highly reccomend the Tofane mountain and Cortina D'Ampezzo. The views are incredible!
