Scotland is one of the world's most enchanting places. From the mystical rock pillars of The Old Man of Storr to the the magical streets of Edinburgh, Scotland is one of my all time favorite travel destinations. Hope this inspires you to visit the country soon. timomastosalo: So Scotland is where you look for Hogwarts, Dragonstone and New Zealand to find Shire, Minas Tirith, Helm's Deep.
And Iceland if you want to find Jon north of the Wall

Some of the pronunciations are absolutely horrifying haha, but I like the effort. You seemed to spend majority of your time in the highlands so I'm surprised you thought Scotland was flat, we have some of the best mountains and ranges in Britain, possibly in Europe.
If you are planning on coming back you should focus on staying up in the highlands again, go back to Soean Bridge area and visit Eilean Donan Castle and go to the Jacobite monument in Glenfinnan known as the Glenfinnan Monument, it was built in 1815.
If you plan on going up to the most northerly point to see the sea cliffs and pinnacles, you must visit Smoo cave it is tremendous

All anybody's talking about is the pronunciation, I've heard much worse! Great video, I live in Scotland and didn't know about half of these places, probably because most of them are on Skye. I recommend Stirling Castle for anyone looking to visit. It isn't as grand and important as Edinburgh Castle and the views from the top aren't as good, but it is much MUCH cheaper and the museum bits were just as good if not better (but maybe a little smaller. Plus, there are tons of castle ruins around the country that haven't been made into museums so you can visit for free! Just make sure you check that it isn't crumbling and unsafe first.

Thats right(I guess0 While doing Scotland in 06 with some new friends from England--escaped and was doing Scotland when we were told this bu someone who seemed Knowledgeable
and the English Friends didn't even Know about it. Then the next year going to the back side of a famous mtn. I was approach and told they weren't pleased that I was going there through this particular Property. I used the right to Roam--and you could SEE in their facial expression--that they were sad I knew about those words and they immediately let me go my Own way.

PLUS they have a LAW that says --YOU Have the RIGHT to ROAM---Thats right--you are supposedly able to walk anywhere you want for you have the right to ROAM---I used it on some people for they did NOT want me to go to a Mountain the way I was going(I was on their Property) BUT, I have the RIGHT to ROAM----ANYWHERE. EVERYWHERE

I visited Scotland in 2012. It s was an amazing trip. Eight days driving by the left along the Highlands and the Isle of Skye. Unforgettable. I ve never seen landscapes like that and I ve never been bitten by midges like there in all my life.

WHY, does nobody know how to pronounce Edinburgh. It is not Edinburg, edinBRUH, or Edinboro. It is pronounced as Edinburuh, but sounds like Edinbruh. Foreigners take that into consideration.

Some pronunciation is off, but I d be a hypocrite to complain as I can t pronounce some places from the USA. I just like that people around the world are talking about our country: )

I m so glad you enjoyed Scotland. You are right, your pronunciation on many of the places is way off, but you are forgiven since you are so enthusiastic about the country.
