Let's take a look at the second largest city in Taiwan - Taichung City. It combines a busy city center, many parks and a wonderful climate. Nice combination I think! #Taichung

Not bad there's a lot of people working in Taiwan this is even more better than China not that much buildings not too much crowded people unlike Japan so I think yeah this is perfect Taiwan Thailand South Korea those three are perfect including Japan but this is beautiful no crowded people no this or that it's just like everyday life like normal human beings now I have to study Mandarin Chinese I wanted to study Japanese but then something came up that I'm learning a new language and a news culture and a new city besides Japan now I have to study Korean Mandarin Chinese and Thai this is beautiful I hope they serve delicious noodles

I love Taichung! Been here 3 times to visit my daughter. Aside from all the things you mentioned, what's great about this city is that you can go around by bus for free as long as your ride does not exceed 10kms. The city is also surrounded by many beautiful Tourist attractions. I miss this place and once Travel restrictions are lifted, this will be the first place I want to visit again. Thank you for this video. Brought back wonderful memories and I felt like I am walking around the city.

I lived in Taichung for a short time 50 years ago while my husband served in the US Air Force, it has changed a lot from the early 70's. It doesn't look anything like I remember. It has become a very modern city! I enjoyed my time in Taichung and have fond memories of the friendliness of the people, shopping and enjoying the food and the culture of Taiwan.

Was a Medic in the US Air Force and stationed at the Hospital on nearby Ching Chuan Kang Air Base 1967-1968.
Was my first time overseas, and I spent many hours in the old Taichung City Park and absolutely loved my time in both the City as well as Taiwan, and hopefully will be able to make it back.

I haven't heard it before. But the way you present is exceptionally attractive and educating.
The other thing I noticed about Taiwan's second largest city is the fact that people hardly speak English and so any visitor will have experience difficulty interacting with people.

Dear Video Makers, I kindly suggest you to follow up to your wonderful and very professional video with a longer video about Taichung that is more in-depth and covers more for Western expats who choose the city for retirement. Is that a good idea?

Has been twice that I have been to Taichung. My girlfriend is from Dajia District. I loved Taichung and as you said, the people were really friendly. I couldn-t try all the milk teas-. Hello from Washington State.

I really love your video and feel compelled to visit Taichung during my next visit to Taiwan. If you can give me some advice, please do. When do you think Taiwan will open again for foreign visitors?
