I fly ANA business often and just flew on the room so looking forward to the difference between first class and the room. So far, hardware side, seems not too different. Champagne is offered but no Krug, no caviar, and no Hibiki. Food looks a bit better but not a huge difference. It seems like the biggest difference might be the food and if you were leaving from Japan, the lounge is likely to be nicer. The Ana business class lounge is nice but always rather crowded. A lot of the good stuff about this flight is just Japan standard.

Thank you for the excellent review! ANA's 'The Suite' really looks like an amazing F product. One quick question - how did you go about booking the LHR - FRA via HND itinerary? I've tried booking this before on airline websites but with no success unfortunately

whenever i have to go to asia, i always choose ANA, they have the best service and best food.
sure it might cost more, and i have to do a slight layover in japan, but i know i won't ever be disappointed.

I gotta say Emirates first class is outta this world. The staff are so attentive. The food is incredible. I really can't recommend it enough
